Dell House is situated in a beautiful, secluded location, where the sound of nature is all you hear. The house is very welcoming, clean and well equipped. The housekeepers, Angie and her husband, are really nice and they live nearby in case you need anything. We had an amazing time and after one week there, we all wanted to stay longer. We had a fantastic stay at the house, located away from hustle bustle of any city , in marvellous rural setting. Rooms were huge with lot of character and wonderful decorations. Our stay was the most memorable, as it was a family reunion. We had walks in the estate and Loch Kemp is beautiful , it was raining on the day when we went there , but it wRead moreas marvellous. We wanted to have camp fire and barbecue, but , we could not do as stone barbecue stand/ place in the lawn was not exactly suitable and tucked away close to the wall . If that could be improved , the house even deserves 6 stars out of 5. I strongly recommend the house for any big groups or family. Hide

We ( a family of 10 adults and 3 children) had a great holiday at Dell House. The house was beautiful (though perhaps a bit too much tartan). Our bedrooms were large with lovely bathrooms and lots of hot water. The kitchen and dining room were lavishly equipped. We only managed to explore a tiny proportion of the vast estate, but particularly enjoyeRead mored Loch Kemp. The quiet and the wildlife were amazing, and we were very lucky with both the weather and the lack of midges. Angie Barclay was extremely welcoming and very helpful in finding children's lifejackets and correcting the only small deficiency (lack of small sharp knives in the kitchen). We may well be back.
