A great cottage in a lovely location. Original design, some good pieces of antique furniture. Beds are firm, shower is large enough to turn around in. Nice light kitchen. However, you can't get a view of the North Cairngorms mountains from the cottage itself; you have to go up to the back of the garden. And the amount of wood inside means that it iRead mores quite dark. We had to put the lights on all the time and it was too dark to read a book. BBC iPlayer was available but kept seizing up. Hide

Great cottage, plenty of space, a little remote, very quiet. Great views! With quite a few stuffed animals on display I guess it's not really a good place to stay for animal lovers or vegans though.

We loved staying in this hunting lodge style cottage. Its situated beautifully overlooking the Dorback river with walks from the front door. We loved our cosy evenings by the woodburner and adventures in the snow. We look forward to coming back!
