A beautifully converted steading that lies in its own peaceful setting surrounded by spectacular countryside and with many opportunities for fishing and other outdoor pursuits.

This magnificent property has a lovely rural countryside location, whilst still being within a short distance to many fun activities and days out. The property owns two upper Tay beats which can be made available for fishing upon arrangement. Keen walkers and nature enthusiasts will love the abundance of trails and wildlife that lives right on the doorstep, such as deer and red squirrels. Nearby is the town of Aberfeldy which has a good selection of independent shops and restaurants to explore, as well as being home to a golf course and traditional Scottish distillery. Finally, for those that fancy a real adrenaline fix, canoeing and rafting is also available nearby and will provide hours of entertainment for all involved. There really is no shortage of activities and sites to see in this beautiful part of Scotland.

The exterior of this property is really quite spectacular, with impressive stone steps leading up to a traditional barn-style entrance. The main area is one large open-plan space which houses a kitchen, dining area and living area which are all cosy and inviting, as well as being decorated with a quintessential Scottish style. Within this main part of the house, there is also a billiard room and bathroom to complete this spectacular space which has large glass doors looking out onto the beautiful countryside around it. To access the two bedrooms, you will have to head out of the main door and into a separate outside door, which is great for giving those in your party a little extra privacy in the evenings. Both are twin bedrooms and have been finished with stylish en-suites to ensure a comfortable stay for all.

The outside of this property has its own patio with furniture so you can sit back and enjoy the views with a glass of something refreshing in hand, while the well-kept lawns are perfect for some games or a spot of sunbathing.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Stunning location 3 miles from Aberfeldy where there is good amenities including a large supermarket. The Steading has everything you need, lovely and warm with a real snug feel. Exceeded our expectations, we will definitely return

This is a fantastic property in an idyllic location. The property is very well equipped and has everything you need. It has all the basic essentials along with a fantastic fireplace, billiard table and stunning views from the garden. Both bedrooms are located at either end of the property which provides greater privacy if it is two couples travelliRead moreng together however, might not be ideal for a family with young children. There is a tumble dryer, although I would have liked to be able to dry my washing outside or even on a clothes horse. The location is ideal for touring Perthshire, only a short drive into Aberfeldy where there are some good eating places. We would definitely recommend the Black Watch Bar / Croft Restaurant, the food was lovely. We had to eat in the bar as we had a dog with us. Would also recommend Highland Safaris which is only minutes from the property. We would definitely stay again. Hide

Great central location to explore Scotland and lots of local attractions and walks to do, one week was not long enough. Farleyer Steading is a lovely house all open plan, well equipped kitchen, open log fire and not forgetting the pool/snooker table Lots of local restaurants at aberfeldy and round the nearby loch Tay.

We went here with our friends for a short break. The owner was very friendly and the Steading was very big and comfortable. You do have to go outside to enter the bedroom wings but this was never a problem. The property was lovely and warm throughout and the large open fire was fantastic. The added bonus of a full size snooker table was useful. In Read morethe summer I can image sitting outside and admiring the magnificent valley views. We would definitely recommend. Hide
