This Scandinavian log cabin enjoys a riverside setting with wonderful views along the banks of the River Tay in Perthshire

Within easy distance of Perth (7 miles), Dunkeld (10 miles), and Pitlochry (22 miles), this bright and airy lodge is the perfect holiday retreat with spectacular views from every window. The surrounding region of Perthshire is made for sporty guests and you'll find a wonderful selection of activities to try here, including fishing, golf, extreme sports, cycling, walking and hill-top hikes. Non-sporty guests can also have fun with food tastings, Scottish castle trips, and shopping in local market towns and villages.

Step inside to find wonderful ambient hues and every creature comfort to hand in this contemporary country-style lodge. There is wonderful attention to detail - the owners have thought of simply everything so that you don't have to. Guests are greeted with the natural scent of pine, while the open-plan kitchen, dining and living room area with its toasty wood burner and stylish furnishings induce instant relaxation. There's also a bunk bedroom and a family bathroom on the ground floor, while upstairs you'll find a king-size bedroom with an en-suite and secluded covered balcony, plus a twin bedroom. All of the bedrooms are very inviting with elegant crisp white linens and beautiful furnishings.

Outside, there's a decked area with a BBQ for al fresco dining, plus a hot tub for indulgent soaks while enjoying splendid riverside views - the perfect way to relax after a long day out exploring the Scottish countryside. The garden is enclosed, though take care with children in this riverside setting. There are shops, pubs and village facilities within 2 miles, and private parking is available on the driveway.

This is such a lovely spot for a restful couple of days. The house is wonderfully stocked and is clean. The beds are so comfy and the views from the hot tub make it so hard to get out! The village also is lovely and quiet, we would love to be back
