The graceful mountain of Slioch is one of the most familiar and photographed mountains in all of Scotland and it overlooks the lodge and the nearby alluring waters of Loch Maree. The location makes this lodge the ideal base for walkers, climbers, mountaineers and anyone who just enjoys what the countryside has to offer. With great accessibility to Torridon, Loch Carron and Gairloch areas which offer golfing, horse riding and sea activities.
This quaint and secluded accommodation is situated over two floors. On the ground floor you will find a recently refurbished open plan kitchen diner with a wood/multi fuel burner to keep you warm on colder nights and sofas. There is a dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer to ensure you have plenty of space for your holiday food. There is a separate spacious dining room for those relaxed suppers with family and friends. The cosy sitting room has an electric log fire and TV. There is also a utility room with washer/dryer and a shower room and WC. On the first floors are three twin bedrooms, one small double with good views. A family bathroom with bath and WC. There is also a small handing space airing cupboard.
Outside, the lodge benefits from a large private garden and patio area that has spectacular views of the enchanting Loch Maree and Slioch Mountain. It is here you will be able to peacefully sit and absorb the serenity of what is on your doorstep in the Highland wilderness. There is plenty of parking available at the lodge.
