With dramatic vistas over Loch Ailort and out towards Rhum and Eigg, this secluded holiday home is an outstanding base from which to explore the rugged north-west of Scotland.

Escape to this tranquil part of Scotland and relax in the splendid surroundings of your holiday home, which sleeps up to 10 guests. Take in the panoramic views across the loch and out towards the Small Isles. Gather your towels and swimming costumes and head off down to the sandy beach at Glenuig for the afternoon. Enjoy the fabulous hiking and wildlife watching available in the surrounding natural environment. Drive 30 miles to Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis to browse its broad selection of shops and to enjoy a meal in one of its many restaurants. Take a boat out to the Western Isles from Mallaig, approximately 23 miles away, and look out for seals and even whales.

Step into your peaceful holiday home and relax in its friendly ambience. Light the open fire in the bright lounge and watch a film on TV with your friends and family or listen to music as you wander through into the sun room to absorb the glorious views. Prepare meals with fine Scottish ingredients in the kitchen and then enjoy your feast together round the table in the adjoining dining room. One of the bedrooms is conveniently located on the ground floor and has an en-suite shower room. Head upstairs to find four more comfortable bedrooms; two of these have en-suite bathrooms while two share the family bathroom.

Large, typical 1980's Scottish hunting lodge in stunning, remote location. The house is well equipped and the 'Sun Room' is a treat in the evening with stunning views over the loch and mountains. Great base to explore the beautiful Ardnamurchan peninsula - one week was not enough! Colin and his wife are charming hosts and looked after us wonderfullRead morey. Special tip: the beach, smoke house and community shop at Glen Uig. Hide

Large and comfortable cottage in a very peaceful location, helpful and friendly caretaker, with all the proper precautions in place for Covid-19. Recommended for a break to get away from it all.
