Comfortably accommodating 20 guests, this impressive Highland lodge finds itself surrounded by the rugged moors, hills, lochs and woodland of the Kildermorie Estate. Leave the hustle and bustle behind and immerse yourself in the heather-covered landscape where you might spot pine martens, otters, osprey, falcons, eagles and owls, as well as red, roe and sika deer. The estate stretches across 19,000 acres, so whether you're salmon fishing along the river or taking a stomp through the woods, you won't run out of new ground to explore. All the local amenities you'll need can be found in Alness (13 miles away) and the extensive facilities and activities of Inverness are an easy drive, at 32 miles away.

Inside, warm colourful fabrics, roaring open fires and beautifully carved wooden furnishings lend the property its traditional lodge feel. Enter via the ground-floor reception room for aperitifs in front of the granite fireplace before moving through to the spacious dining room to eat. The kitchen is set up to commercial standard, allowing large meals to be prepared and served with ease – ideal for the larger groups which may gather here. Also on the ground floor are two twin bedrooms off the courtyard, one with increased accessibility for disabled guests, that can be linked internally as a suite. Both have en-suite bathrooms, and there are separate WCs on this floor too. An open-plan lounge is found upstairs on the first floor, where comfortable sofas surround a large open fire, the perfect spot to warm up with tea and toast after a walk. A further three twin bedrooms and five doubles are located on this floor, all with en-suite bathrooms making this an ideal property for corporate events or trips with multiple families. Wrought-iron bedsteads and claw-foot baths add characterful flourishes throughout the first-floor rooms, which are each unique and thoughtfully designed.

There is ample parking and a south-facing courtyard where evening drinks can be enjoyed while the sun sets over the Highland hills. In addition to exploring the extensive grounds of the estate, keen anglers can fish on its six lochs from boat or bank, as well as enjoying bank fishing or wading along 1.3 km of salmon river.

Up to 4 dogs welcome, additional dogs by arrangement and normal charge however, please note that the dogs are strictly not allowed in the property.  Heated kennels are provided.
