We had a wonderful time at Monessie as it was perfectly situated to enjoy the views of the Bays. The house was very spacious and beautifully decorated throughout. There was ample crockery and amazing white goods , the kitchen is particularly beautiful and has an excellent position also. Only complaint ; if it is one the beds were too soft ( but thiRead mores is really just a preference ). We would definitely use Monessie again. Hide

Our family spent Christmas week at Monessie House. This is a beautifully modernised home in a wonderful location. We were initially puzzled by the location of the main switches for the ovens and dishwasher. A bedroom chair would be useful, but we borrowed one from elsewhere. The kitchen is fabulous but not extensively equipped, and we managed very Read morewell. The outside space is beautiful and clearly recently re landscaped. It helped a lot that the weather over Christmas was beautiful and we had walks in the Culbin forest and on the beach every day. A lovely house and a memorable family occasion. Hide

The house is perfect, house and gardens renovated beautifully. We had lovely weather. Sitting outside the front of the house with amazing views watching the world go by was great. House was of a very high standard by way of comfort and equipment. We could not have asked for a more relaxing break, we did not want to leave.
