This beautiful property is the ideal base for keen walkers, nature enthusiasts and those who want to return to a little bit of luxury at the end of an adventurous day.

Right on the doorstep of this idyllic cottage lies a multitude of cycle trails and walking paths as well as several of the 277 Munros that lie in Scotland waiting to be conquered. If you fancy trying your hand at sailing, then head to the nearby village of Tighnabruaich (6 miles), situated on the east coast of Loch Fyne and home to its very own sailing school. A little further away, you will also find the main town on the Cowal peninsula, Dunoon (19 miles), which offers a full range of shops, a leisure centre, cinema, hotels and restaurants.

 

The scenery which surrounds this gorgeous property is simply stunning, and it makes the perfect backdrop for a peaceful and unforgettable stay. The interior of this riverside cottage is as lovely as the exterior, with quality furnishings throughout that capture the traditional character of the cottage, whilst still making it feel luxurious and cosy inside. The open-plan living room has large, sumptuous sofas and a hearty wood burner, perfect for spending cooler evenings snuggled up. The lovely dining area then leads into a galley kitchen which has been finished with a quality, country touch with a door that leads out into the magical garden which the river flows through. Completing this single-storey property are two delightfully furnished bedrooms: one double which feels exceptionally light and bright thanks to windows on two sides of the room, and one twin bedroom that is perfect for accommodating families.

 

The enchanting garden has a lawned area and a fast-flowing trout river that runs through and under an arched bridge. There is ample garden furniture to enjoy an evening's meal outside.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
