This picture-perfect semi detached cottage is in a joyful location, less than 500 metres from the sandy beachfront. Wander half a mile into the centre of Brodick for a host of things to do, including a luxury spa and a golf club. The village boasts plenty of quality restaurants, waterfront pubs and bars and charming tea rooms, as well as convenience stores for stocking up and cooking at home. Visit the 19th-century Brodick Castle and its beautiful gardens just 1.5 miles away or head up the road for a local heritage museum. Those looking for more of an adventure, hike Goatfell, 4.5 miles away, or travel 8 miles across the island to see the Machrie Standing Stones.

Enter the property via the patio to the rear and head straight into the open-plan living space. This homely lounge has been decorated to a high standard, and every inch of the space is utilised well. The compact kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, electric oven, gas hob, microwave and washing machine. Find a starter pack of local treats in the cupboards and dine at the handy breakfast bar for two. Come the evening, sink into the comfy sofa and choose from plenty of options on the TV. The Smart TV has a built-in DVD player along with streaming services to peruse. Just off the lounge is a cosy twin bedroom with far-reaching sea views through the large window, a treat to wake up to each day. The property's bathroom is an en-suite and fitted with a WC and shower cubicle.

To the front of the cottage, you'll find a spacious mature garden, full of pleasing flora and a great spot to sit and enjoy a good book. A gravelled driveway just before this offers space to park one or two cars. What a delightful place to stay at on Arran. A lovely welcome from Anne and John instantly made us feel at home. A generous welcome basket was a real treat. The accommodation is perfect for two people, with everything you need. It was warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. Hosts were friendly and attentive. Accommodation had everything you need and the welcome pack was an added bonus. The location was perfect and within walking distance of all amenities. Beautiful views of Brodick bay and Goat Fell. We would highly recommend the property.

Wonderful location on the very edge of Brodick with a lovely view. Great base for exploring with walks right from the gate, so you can leave the car alone for a day or two. Bus stops are also just outside the property in either direction. Friendly hosts and a lovely welcome pack in a small, but well formed residence that covers what you need for a Read morevisit to the island. It is pristine as far as cleanliness goes and the presentation both inside and in the garden shows how much care they put into their property. We had a fabulous week in Arran and would have no hesitation in recommending St Minver - the owners were first rate and so welcoming - they were on hand to ensure our stay was perfect whilst still respecting our privacy - they also gave some great advice on walks to try out. Great welcome and hosts cope really well with delays or issues with ferries. Accommodation is just right for 2 with well appointed kitchen and outside spaces. Loved the island with walking, scrambling and cycling prominent. Hosts were very helpful to help us get ferry off arran before the storm.

St Minver is a treasure. The cottage itself is exceptionally clean and well maintained as is the lovely garden. Its well positioned with a great view and very handy for all Brodick amenities. However the very best of St Minver is the hosts, they are excellent hosts. St. Minver is a great holiday cottage and Anne & John are terrific hosts. If you've never been to Arran, then this is the place to stay. Everything is 1st class and very comfortable. We particularly love the patio table and chairs. It's perfect for relaxing after a days hiking.

Fabulous cottage in an amazing setting. Ann and John are wonderful hosts and are a wealth of local knowledge. They live next door but are not intrusive at all. The cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Comfy beds too. Easy walk into Brodick. We love it so much and never want to leave, booked for next year already.
