This wonderful property in stunning surroundings offers truly unique holiday accommodation perfect for a family or friends'' reunion, located within a beautiful estate next to the River Conon.

Located in Strathconon, surrounded by a wonderful, tree-lined glen following the River Conon, this fantastic house has an abundance of peaceful walks on its doorstep. Wander along the river or explore the forests in search of eagles, ospreys and red deer. You'll hardly want to leave the estate, but if you do, there's the Highland Museum of Childhood (17 miles) and the Loch Ness Centre (33 miles) that will keep everyone busy. Plus, Inverness is only 31.5 miles away, where you can spend the day shopping and discovering the many pubs and restaurants.

Inside the house, ornate ceilings, elegant arches and large windows give each room a light and airy feel; the property blends the best features of a bygone era with a contemporary style. The huge drawing room is the ideal place to sit and relax after a day out exploring the Highlands; curl up on one of the sofas in front of the fire with a book or just sit back with a drink in hand. Budding chefs will love the large kitchen with industrial-sized appliances including a gas oven and hob and large dishwasher, as well as the dining room with a table to sit everyone and a stunning wooden floor. If you're looking for some peace and quiet, the study has a bay window and wood burner making it a perfect hideaway, or you can escape to the dedicated TV room to watch a favourite programme. In the morning, head to the breakfast room that seats five, before challenging each other to a game of billiards in the games room. At night, don't miss the opportunity to make use of the observatory with a telescope. For muddy boots and clothes, there's a boot room and a laundry room. Heading up to the first floor, you'll find a superb master bedroom decorated in tranquil colours with an interesting turreted en-suite bathroom that has a large bath and separate shower. Two peaceful double bedrooms also have en-suites with a shower over the bath, while a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom both have a hand basin. There are also three cosy single bedrooms, all with hand basins, and another two bathrooms with showers over the baths. This house really has everything you need!

Outside, wander the grounds and take a look at the lily pond and pretty flower beds. There's also a productive fruit and vegetable garden and outdoor furniture to enjoy an al fresco drink in the evenings.

The estate office is situated within the house to the rear next to the billiard room, but staff have access from the back door.
