Surrounded by mature private gardens and verdant Scottish woodland, and only 22 miles from the Cairngorms National Park, this elegant property offers a unique stay for up to ten guests. From its position high in the Tay Valley, you can enjoy spectacular views over the Perthshire hills with easy access to the bustling town of Aberfeldy (4 miles away), which offers an array of cafes, restaurants and shops.

Inside, cheerful décor and cosy furnishings provide homely comfort, perfect for unwinding and spending quality time together after a day out exploring. Perhaps have a game of chess in the lounge while the open fire crackles or light up the wood burner in the lounge/dining room for a warm glow while you chat over a family dinner. For less formal meals, the bright and airy kitchen has ample seating and space for the bustle of breakfast to take place each morning; sip your coffee next to the warming AGA, and watch the late risers trickle in for tea and toast. Also on the ground floor is a utility room, study, cloakroom with WC, and a drying room for wet coats and boots. Make your way upstairs to the five spacious bedrooms, each with their own TV. All three super-king rooms have en-suites, two with showers and one with a bath as well, while the double and twin room share the family bathroom with shower over bath. The twin room also has its own sink.

In warmer months, dine alfresco or rustle up a BBQ while younger members of the family play out on the large garden lawn. Amongst mature trees and with views over the Tay Valley, sunny lunches around the patio table will make your stay here that extra bit special. There's plenty of space in the utility room to store any outdoor equipment you bring, and ample parking at the front of the house too. For keen anglers, the house also has two nearby beats on the Tay – Lower and Upper Farleyer – which have eight rods and promise first-class salmon fishing at an additional cost..  The house manager may also be able to arrange distillery tours, stalking, shooting and stunning falconry displays. Please note that a separate property on the same grounds may also be available to book should your party exceed 10 guests; Farleyer Steading can accommodate an additional four people and is located behind the main house.

We have been several times and cant wait to return. Beautiful house and lovely location. Very spacious and well stocked with everything to make your stay perfect. Garden is very nice to relax in and get the bbq going. Overall perfect you will not be disappointed.

This is an excellent property, very well setup and in an excellent location. The landscape nearby is stunning and with Aberfeldy a short drive away, most supplies can be found easily. The interior of the house is to a high standard and there is more than enough equipment for cooking almost anything. This property is perfect for a large family holiday. The 7 adults, baby and dog we're all very comfortable for the week. All bedrooms, and ensuite bathrooms are so comfortable. The kitchen dining area is great for flarge family meals and the large kitchen has all the facilities you could need. Would recommend.

Beautiful place, very spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. House is very clean throughout. Lovely garden and plenty of seating so peaceful to sit outdoors. Good location for walking and not too far from Aberfeldy town and Pitlochry (by car). This was our 3rd visit we just love the place. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely quiet location close to Aberfeldy, Kenmore and Glen Lyon. Plenty of other places to visit within an hour of the house. The house is very well equipped, we loved watching the red squirrels and numerous birds. Perfect for a family get together.

Beautiful house very spacious and well equipped. Lovely garden with spectacular views. This is our second stay here and we hope to return next year. Ideal location for exploring other places such as Aberfeldy & Pitlochry plus many more. Really cannot fault it you will not be disappointed.

A fabulous house for large family groups. Amazing kitchen with everything you could need for family meals. Beautiful location with well looked after gardens. Perfect for children and the dog to run around. High chair for the baby, and lots of games and books. Chess board used every day. Comfortable beds and beautiful ensuites. Highly recommended.

Superb accommodation and very well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We didnt miss that one of the dishwashers had gone faulty the week before - there seemed to be two of everything! It truly is a beautiful house in a gorgeous location.
