Loved the cottage and location. The river by the cottage was slow moving and west end of the loch sheltered and perfect for canoeing and kayaking with the kids. Mountain biking was great but all the trails are too steep for the kids but the road on the southside of loch was empty and perfect for them. The area is so beautiful but deserted. I saw noRead more one paddle or walk past the cottage. I cycled to glen coe and back 36km and saw not a single person. Hide

This was our first visit to the area and to this cottage. The property was well equipped, although no freezer which would have been handy as the shops are a long way away from the property. This is the ideal place if you want to get away from it all as it is certainly peaceful and so quiet. We loved sitting in the front garden and watching wildlifeRead more. There was lots of nearby walks and access to the water on the other side of the bridge, but take midge spray as the clegs do bite! Hide

Tigh Na Linn is a beautiful cottage situated in a remote, peaceful location at the end of Loch Rannoch. The cottage has been tastefully renovated to a very high standard and was very clean. We found it to be a great base for walking, direct from the door, We also used the train from nearby Rannoch Station (the tearoom here is highly recommended). ARead more copious supply of bottled water was provided. No wifi, but we had an excellent mobile signal. Absence of a shower was a minor annoyance. Hide
