A beautiful converted stone barn in Borders country, surrounded by outstanding walking.

This spacious barn is packed with original features and is ideal for large families or two families sharing, sleeping eight across four bedrooms. Set on farmland, it has wonderful views out over the countryside beyond, and is well-placed for enjoying various outdoor activities. As well as walking on the many miles of local trails, you can enjoy trout fishing on the River Tweed, 2 miles away, and on the nearby small loch. There is a pub less than a mile away and catering can be arranged. It can be booked with the neighbouring property for larger parties.

Inside, you'll find a large, stylish living room with a double-height ceiling and a wood burner, as well as a choice of comfortable sofas. A mezzanine snug sits above that, with extra seating including a sofa bed, ideal for lazy afternoons with a book. There is a spacious kitchen/diner with granite worktops, a large family dining table and everything you'll need to cook up tasty holiday meals, including a range cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. A separate utility room with a tumble dryer and washing machine is the ideal place to wash those muddy post-walk clothes. On the ground floor, a bedroom with a double bed converts to a twin, and an accessible wet room. On the first floor you will find a double bedroom with en-suite, and two more double/twin bedrooms. There is also a family bathroom.

Outside, an enclosed garden with a picnic table is an inviting spot for an al fresco lunch or sit and relax in the hot tub. It boasts outstanding views over the rolling hills as well as parking for several cars.

Please note there is a refundable £300 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.
