We were made very welcome by the owner who came along to make sure everything was ok. We were shown round the cottage and where we cold find anything we might need, including garden furniture, barbeque and washing machine in the laundry room. This cottage was chosen with my dog in mind, and it was a good choice. Plenty of off lead walks nearby and not a sheep in sight. The cottage was just perfect for us in the depths of the forest but a short drive from the most fabulous walks in the area. The single track roads that lead there can be a little daunting ,especially late at night, but for us anyway added to the charm of the area. This is an amazing house! The drive to it is the only downfall, it takes a good 10-15 minutes to get to the main road, brilliant if you really do want to get away from it all, not so great if you want to do anything quickly! The house has amazing facilities and really good WiFi, it is truly peaceful and the walks around are fantastic

Great property in a great location, especially for cyclists and walkers. Very clean, well equiped and comfortable. There are some great walks directly from the cottage. The only downside was the long narrow drive from the main road up to the cottage. Very scary - not many passing places if you met anyone coming the other way. Once you were there it was ideal, everything you could wish for,

This was a great find! Location is beautiful, very secluded with a short trip down some wonderful windy roads to get to the lovely cottage. But still close to amenities and sight seeing attractions. Very dog friendly and a perfect enclosed garden for our 9 month old puppy.

This was a lovely, cosy well equipped cottage with plenty of character. We loved the fact that we were in the middle of a forest with only one set of neighbours. It was a great way to spend the new year, would definitely stay here again.
