This impressive property is perfectly located for enjoying the outdoor activities on offer in the area. Nearby Fort William, just under 10 miles away, offers a wide range of activities for all abilities, including climbing, kayaking, and abseiling. In the winter, skiers and boarders will appreciate the proximity to skiing at Aonach Mor Ski Resort in the Nevis Range. For those seeking more leisurely outdoor pursuits, there are miles of glorious walks and bike rides to enjoy. The famous Jacobite steam engine, as featured in the Harry Potter films, runs from Fort William to Mallaig and offers a spectacular ride through mountains and glens.

Entering this lovely property with its soft yellow decor and natural wood flooring, you’ll find yourself in a huge, light vestibule, with a sweeping staircase and a wood burner to ensure a warm welcome. From this hallway, doors lead into the other downstairs rooms, including the large kitchen. Well-equipped and with a central breakfast table and double doors opening into the garden, the large kitchen also has double doors leading into the elegant dining room, making this the perfect space to gather together and socialise over a meal. Next door, the lovely lounge is a lovely cosy room to relax and unwind. Sit back with a drink and enjoy the beautiful views outside while the open fire keeps your feet toasty. Also downstairs is a twin bedroom and a handy shower room and WC. Heading up the stairs you come to a large gallery area where there is a comfy sofa and a TV – a perfect den for the children to enjoy. The master bedroom has a charming en-suite bathroom with a double ended bath and handheld shower. The double bedroom and twin bedroom are both furnished in simple comfortable style, and there is a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside there is a beautiful enclosed garden stretching to 3 acres, with a large lawn and a children’s play area with a treehouse, swing and slide. The large south-facing patio with garden furniture is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink while the children play or, on warmer days, to gather together for an al fresco meal. There is ample private parking next to the property.

We loved our stay at Cour Lodge. Out of the way and superb views of the stunning countryside in every direction. Comfortable beds, apart from the bottom twin bedroom but I think that is usually used as a kids room. Basic decor but still charming and everything worked fine. Perfect accommodation for a break away, secure, warm and everything you coulRead mored need really. Lovely house, stunning scenery, short walk into village and short drive to nearest supermarket. House is much bigger than it looks in the photos, they dont do it justice. I would definitely recommend and absolutely return!

This is a lovely property to stay at for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful area. The layout of the house was perfect for two families and we enjoyed family games nights in the large dining room. The house was very well equipped and we quickly felt at home. The house is in a great location for skiing at Nevis Range and we also enjoyed exploring the Read morewalks from the door step. We stayed at cour lodge in febuary for our wedding and it was simply amazing! Stunning views and wild location, fantastic wildlife encounters (a regular barn owl visit and deer), very well laid out property whch was cosy and warm in winter even without a fire (but the option of open fire and logburner are a wonderfull addition and help to dry off sRead morewimming costumes from the reccomened hot tub hire very quickly. I visited Cour lodge with my fianc, 12 year old, 3 year old and 4 month old daughter, my sister and her partner with there 3 month old son and my mum. We all absolutely loved staying there. My 3 year old was definitely the most fond of the freeness It provided and we all loved how calm and tranquil it was! The views were STUNNING!! Being from LondoRead moren you dont get views like that so we were very grateful waking up to those every morning! Would 100% return in the future!! Hide

Absolute stunning property set in awe inspiring location . Stayed in several holiday cottages over the years and this is definitely one of the best well equipped Ive had . Would definitely come again .

What a wonderful holiday we had in a superb holiday home. Such a relaxing holiday for us all. The owner Zafira couldn't have been more helpful before and during our holiday with helpful suggestions both for the house and the surrounding area, from walking trails to wild swimming locations. We have just returned from a week at Cour Lodge. We were there with our adult children and grandson. The lodge is just perfect, great big kitchen to gather round, leading to an outdoor area where we sat out with the fire pit on an evening. This property is fantastic. Very cosy and like a home from home. The views are simply stunning. Loved waking up every morning to them. Lighting the fire just adds to the warmth. Zafira was a perfect host and would recommend this property to others. A short walk into Spean Bridge to the local cafe where the staff were very pleasant.
