Period cottage with enclosed garden and hot tub in Snowdonia National Park, in Llan Ffestiniog close to Blaenau Ffestiniog, the perfect romantic retreat to explore North Wales countryside and culture.

Llan Ffestiniog village nestles between Manod and Moelwyn Mountains in the Snowdonia National Park. Head North to Blaenau Ffestiniog, with shops and eateries for you to enjoy, and local arts, crafts and produce. Walkers, climbers and cyclists can take on gentle strolls, steep climbs and even Snowdon’s summit. Whereas adrenalin seekers can Go underground at Llechwedd Slate Caverns, take on Zip World Titan, the largest zip zone in Europe and new outdoor activities. Visit historic sites and castles, take a ride on the narrow gorge steam train or a take trip to Portmeirion, near Porthmadog. The area is full of wooded vales, rocky slopes and mountain lakes, sandy beaches, attractions, history and culture. The perfect romantic retreat with something to do all year round.

Lovely stone house, refurbished in 2019, with contemporary interiors, rustic charm and creature comforts, with all the thoughtful little extras for your holiday. The porch is flooded with natural light and a handy bench to take off your walking boots and hang up your holiday paraphernalia. Walk through to the open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner with the feature fireplace taking centre stage with wood burner effect electric fire set in the inglenook. The kitchen area is creatively designed and well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, with views up the rear garden from the kitchen sink. Enjoy a bite to eat at the perfectly positioned table by the window and after dinner, play cards, open your maps to plan your activities and play board games. For cosy nights in snuggle up on the sofa, listen to music through the Bluetooth speaker system, enjoy something on the Smart TV with Standard Sky package or lose yourself in a good book. On the ground floor you will also find the stylish shower room with shower and WC, treat yourself to a leisurely shower before heading upstairs to the first floor. This spacious bedroom has quality linen, a king-size bed, Smart TV with standard Sky package, comfy chairs and views to the front and rear of the property towards the mountains, this truly is a lovely space to wake up in.

This end of terrace house benefits from the elevated position with views over the village and towards the mountains and aqueduct in the distance. The rear shared enclosed garden is laid to lawn. Continue up to the back gate with borders bursting with interesting shrubs. If you are bringing you bikes you can use the cycle rack in the rear garden. To the front are four steps up to the front door and a paved area, ideal for morning coffee on the bench. There is ample roadside parking outside the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We really enjoyed our short break in this lovely cottage, was very cozy, warm and relaxing. Loved the hot tub, perfect after a little walk. Cottage was very clean, bed so comfortable and great to have use of SKY Q and WiFi. We hope to stay again in the future.

Cosy cottage in a great location for exploring. Lots of walks around the cottage and loads more within a short drive. Great base for drives under an hour to explore what north Wales has to offer

A lovely clean Welsh cottage with a view to die for ,l had a relative who lived in Llan Ffestiniog and went every year to stop as a child.Me and my wife had a fantastic time .Very friendly couple next door .The hot tub was a bonus after climbing the Mountains and would recommend the Lyn Traws lake walk.

We stayed at this cottage for a week and it was a fantastic stay. Its in a great location with some fantastic views and walks close by. Its about 5 minutes away from a small co op and about 20 minutes away from a big Tesco. The bed was very comfortable, the cottage itself was very cosy. It had all the equipment needed. The sky tv was definitely a bRead moreonus as most places dont have a decent Tv let alone a sky box. We loved our week away and would highly recommend to anyone. Hide

Me and my partner stayed in this lovely cottage for a week and had the most amazing time. The hot tub located in the garden overlooking the mountains made stunning views and the neighbours so friendly and welcoming. The cottage is in a great location for couples who are looking for an activity filled adventure holiday with so much to do close by.

This is a beautiful cottage in a great location. Close to the beach, and would really recommend the zip world skate caverns. The cottage was really cosy after a rainy day exploring and had everything that you could possibly want or need.

The cottage was lovely and quirky and immaculately clean. It was in a nice location with views of the hills from the hot tub. Our neighbour made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of advice on places to visit. Overall a very enjoyable visit!

Lovely little cottage in the heart of Snowdonia with great access to Beddgelert, Porthmadog and Snowdon mountain. Loved the quirky interior and the hot tub had great views - a little dark out there at night but if you use a phone light / torch you can manage. The basic supplies provided - tea / coffee / milk etc - and the Welsh cakes / biscuits werRead moree a nice touch which we were not expecting! Cottage situated with stunning views all around and easy access to all of Snowdonia comfortable weeks stay with gorgeous weather as an advantage. Some Maintenance needed in the kitchen area as broken draw units and split work surface. Steps up to the front door with shared back garden. We visited over Christmas so the decorations were much appreciated. Good amenities, well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedroom. Excellent location for walking and Ffestiniog railway.
