This luxury barn conversion boasts a private hot tub and games area, and is nestled in beautiful countryside close to the North Wales coast. A stunning interior makes this a superb retreat for friends and family. This fabulous property is full of surprises and thoughtful little extras for your stay, and was beautifully refurbished in 2019, with underfloor heating, exposed stone walls and beams that allude to the charm and quality throughout the property. The property is just a short drive from the pleasant village of Llannefydd (0.5 miles), with its own pretty pub. Pop to the historic market town of Denbigh (6.5 miles) with eateries and independent shops, and the beach at Abergele (7 miles) is just a short drive away and offers lots of seaside fun. Head west to Colwyn Bay (14 miles), the pretty cobbled streets of Conwy (19 miles), or the lovely beach and Victorian pier at Llandudno (21 miles). Walk the Conwy Castle Walls, reach the top of the Great Orme by foot or cable car, go go-karting at Glan y Gors or join the coastal path for majestic sea views, all within 22 miles. Within easy driving distance are the northern edge of Snowdonia National Park (17.5 miles) and the fantastic National Trust’s Bodnant Garden (21 miles).

Enter through the oak beamed porch into the snug with comfortable sofas, a contemporary wood burner effect electric fire and Smart TV, a lovely space to relax and unwind after a long day out. Walk through to the breathtaking kitchen with wonderful oak beams, granite work tops and a range of fantastic equipment, with the dining table taking centre stage, perfect for everyone to gather round and enjoy time together over a meal. This beautiful room flows through to the lounge, flooded with natural light and fabulous views. Relax on the velvet sofas, open the bi-folding doors to let the outside in and plan your holiday activities. For cosy nights in, light the wood burner, and after dinner play board games for your evening’s entertainment, watch a film on the Smart TV or head outside to the games barn. Heading back through to the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, leading to a shower room with shower and WC. Also, on the ground floor is a king-size bedroom with Smart TV and stylish en-suite wet room and WC. Proceeding upstairs to the first floor, there are another three bedrooms to choose from, two of the rooms have double zip-and-link beds (which can be made up as twins on request), both have Smart TVs and an en-suite shower room and WC. The third bedroom is the charming master bedroom with a Smart TV, private balcony and super views of the countryside. Enjoy a leisurely bath or shower in the en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath, separate shower and WC, and enjoy a good night’s sleep in the king-size bed with wonderful views to wake up to.

Heading outside, which certainly echoes the quality of the inside, there is a large patio area with seating, your own private hot tub and the games barn with table tennis. Simply relax and unwind as you enjoy a truly magical break here. There is also an outside shower, gas BBQ for al fresco dining and an enclosed garden.

We keep coming back every year we love it so much. Its a beautiful house in a beautiful part of wales. The property has something for everyone, including your furbabies. The youngest in our party was 3 weeks old and the eldest 85 years. A truly relaxing and remarkable place to visit, a home from home experience. We had a brilliant holiday at Y Daflod, thoroughly enjoyed the views, the house, the hot tub, the ping pong, the barbecue..... I could go on! House was beautifully warm when we arrived and spotlessly clean. We would definitely go back.

The Cottage is great. Very spacious . The garden is well fenced in so dogs couldnt get out . And lots of room for the children. The barn was an added bonus too.

Lovely cottage, lots of space for our family. Great having two separate spaces to chill. Lovely to have so many bathrooms . Hot tub and table tennis table was a great addition. Would highly recommend this property. We had a lovely week here.

This cottage is pure perfection! The log burner was beautiful on an evening. The bedroom balcony gave such stunning views across the countryside. The barn outside with hot tub & table tennis was perfect. It has everything you could possibly need & is 1000% worth the 5 minutes of narrow roads up to it!

Perfect barn conversion cottage for multiple guests with loads of space to have quiet or noisy areas downstairs without disturbing each other. Fixtures and fittings are top quality and look fab. Great house the hot tub and table tennis barn is fantastic. Only disappointment was no welcome pack not even milk. Also the bathroom towels were very small and there are no robes supplied for the hot tub. These 3 things would make this a 5star property.

We had a fantastic stay at this house, everything was so nicely done and it really felt like home for the long weekend. Great location to explore Llandudno and Conwy, lovely local pub the Hide and Buckle, where we had an excellent meal.

Beautifully crafted and decorated cottage, and well equipped, very comfortable. We made good use of outside barn & table tennis. Quiet location with good views but easy access to many coastal and inland sites of north wales within about 30 mins.

Excellent property, layout was good and very spacious. Ample parking and wonderful views. We encountered a couple of minor problems which Mrs Roberts dealt with immediately. We enjoyed staying on a working farm, and were kept entertained by the sheep.

What a beautiful barn to call home for a week! Very comfortable, superbly equipped throughout and a lovely secure outside area for dogs. The barn with the bbq, hot tub and table tennis table were used extensively. Lovely places to visit close by. Book if wanting to go on the Snowdon steam railway but a gorgeous area to visit. Could not recommend this property enough!!! The house alone is absolutely stunning and fully equipped with everything you need but then the views on top of that..wow! Wonderful and well equipped barn conversion. Very spacious with high quality fittings. Roomy, warm and with great views. Hot tub and games area a lovely addition. Peaceful and relaxing.....just a few miles of narrow lanes for access, don't be put off. We had a great 4 nights, lively.

Lovely maintained and presented large cottage. The grounds were secure for our dogs and they had a large area to run around and play. The beds were comfortable and the showers were great - the rain heads were lovely with the wet room designs perfect for us. The property certainly has the wow factor. A lovely spacious cottage finished to a very high standard. Lots of space for cars. Really liked the fact that we could safely allow the dogs out in to the garden knowing that they couldnt escape. We loved the hot tub and found it very peaceful looking out over the fields every day. We had a lovely stay at YDaflod. We are four now retired couples who have enjoyed many short breaks together over the last thirty years and this property was one of the best. Four comfortable bedrooms with splendid en-suites and plenty of room to spread out downstairs.

Overall, we had a very pleasurable stay. The accommodation was warm & welcoming. It was a shame that the oven door was faulty, but this didn't cause a major problem and it is understood that steps were underway to resolve the issue.

Our family of 8 adults, a young baby and dog had an amazing stay at this cottage it is beautiful inside lovely decor and well equipped and very cosy in the evenings. The hot tub was a firm favourite with amazing views from it too. Would highly recommend staying here.

Well presented and excellent accommodation for our party of eight and a dog. A lovely location in a quiet peaceful setting. Really well equipped and tastefully decorated. It was a pleasure to stay and we would have no hesitation in going back another time.
