Gorgeous, traditional, stone-built cottage set in the midst of the spectacular Argyll countryside, perfect as a romantic retreat for two.

With miles of local paths straight from the door, this idyllic spot is the perfect place to enjoy the fresh Highland air and spot the local rich and varied wildlife. Enjoy spectacular walks along nearby Loch Etive or take the short drive to the delightful coastal town of Oban from where you can catch a ferry to Mull. Enjoy superb seafood, go seal-spotting or visit the excellent Oban distillery and sample the local fine malt. Visit Dunollie Museum Castle and explore the attractive grounds.

Enter this charming cottage through the front door and you’ll find yourself in the narrow hallway where there is space to store coats and muddy boots. From here, turn into the cosy little lounge/dining room, tastefully decorated in soft greys and purples that evoke the Scottish landscape. Snuggle up on the comfy sofa in front of the glowing wood burner (starter pack of logs supplied) and enjoy a film and a glass of wine in the evening. Next door the smart galley kitchen is well-equipped for rustling up a romantic meal for two. At the end of the day, retire to the king-size bedroom with its luxuriously soft bedding and enjoy a blissful night’s sleep. In the morning, enjoy an invigorating shower in the adjacent bathroom.

Stroll outside into the small, private garden, where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet or perhaps share a meal together on warm days. Beyond the garden is shared access to further grounds including large open ponds. Next to the cottage is private parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This cottage is pretty special - isolated with stunning views, spacious for two people, cosy during our stay in January (snow part of the time) with a lovely wood burner (plenty of logs supplied), well stocked with equipment in the kitchen and throughout. Large entrance hall and a spacious bathroom with homely touches throughout. Newly renovated cottage with all new furniture and fixtures - very spacious rooms, cosy and warm even during November, with a log fire that creates a fantastic atmosphere! Extremely comfortable bed, huge bathroom and good size kitchen area, along with a living room with beautiful views. We were both absolutely gob smacked how lovely and remote the property was and the pictures do not do it justice. Both with excellent views of the surrounding mountains and the really nice nearby pubs We were looked after very well and would love to go back sometime in the near future.
