Lovely house. We liked that it felt 'old-fashioned' for instance a non-fitted kitchen. It helped us to imagine the castle retainers who had lived there for generations. Magnificent location. We were fortunate that we were there whilst the castle was unoccupied so we could enjoy the near estate almost as if it was all ours. Brilliant time to come asRead more the leaves were turning. We loved this cottage. For a home cook, the kitchen was amazing and the hub of the holiday. Bedrooms were a good size, loved the living room at night to cozy down by the fire.
