One of four traditional wooden lodges set within six acres of mature woodland and countryside where you are free to relax, wild swim, soak and explore, whatever the occasion or time of year.

You will be well served within this peaceful oasis where you can relax by the natural swimming pool or stroll through the acres of mature woodland. You are a short distance away from the vibrant market town of Ledbury, where you will find an excellent choice of amenities offering good local food and warm Herefordshire hospitality. Known for its eye-catching black and white timber frame structured cottages, this is a fascinating place to explore. Lying right on the borders of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, this ideal location showcases the region's finest countryside where you will be spoilt for choice, the Wye Valley offers magnificent colours, riverside walks and kayaking, with The Malvern hills offering spectacular views, a little further afield the Brecon Beacon National park.

Drive through the electric gates and into the woodland and as daylight appears again you will gain your first glimpse of the cluster of traditional lodges. The wooden steps will lead you to the terrace where you can step inside to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The spacious lounge area has comfortable sofas to sit back  in after a busy day exploring, relax with a good book or enjoy a favourite programme or film on the TV/DVD. The kitchen/diner is set to the rear, the kitchen area has everything you need to cook a hearty breakfast or evening meal, including gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area is the perfect place for a family meal whilst planning the next days adventures. There is also a single bedroom on the ground floor and shower room with shower and WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor you will find two further bedrooms, a king-size room to the front of the lodge with a lovely enclosed balcony to take in the morning air. and a twin bedroom to the rear of the lodge with beautiful countryside views. Completing this floor is the Jack and Jill shower room with shower and WC, this can be accessed from both bedrooms.

Step outside onto the terrace at the rear of the property where there is seating for everyone to enjoy al fresco dining, a great BBQ, outdoor shower and private hot tub. You also have access to the natural outdoor swimming pool, and a shared sauna and shared gym. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had such a lovely week at dragonfly lodge. Clive and Shelly were friendly and so helpful. The weather, natural pool and hot tub were all perfect! The lodge felt immaculately clean, spacious and well stocked. We will definitely go back! Thank you both for a very relaxed week!

An excellent cottage with all you need for a fabulous holiday. The hot tub and natural pool are absolute winners but the cottage itself is also beautiful.

The lodge was clean and well equipped and the beds and sofas very comfortable. We loved the small swimming lake, which was wonderfully clear, and also the hot tub. Lovely spot with a very warm welcome from the owners who cant do enough for you: loved the Hottub. Lots of walking and things to do in this area. Wasnt quite brave enough to try a dip in the natural pond in April but would do in the summer. Will definitely return.

Beautiful lodge, warm and cosy. Super clean and well kept throughout. We LOVED the cold water swimming lake/pond every morning. Super location and hosts couldn't do enough to make us comfortable.

Spotlessly clean, well appointed accommodation. Lovely deck at the back of the chalet with BBQ, hot tub and seating, and more seating provided at the front to catch the evening sun. Beautiful well maintained grounds with wildlife pond and natural swimming pool - perfect for cooling off in after a day's hiking in the Malverns.

On arrival the host showed us around the lodge, how things worked etc. The lodge was spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The extra little touches really made a difference and it was great to have an Alexa and DVD player etc. We loved the pond and hot tub and flintstone the donkey! We had such a lovely week here. The pool is amazing and such a nice experience. The new decking area at the back of each lodge is a great addition giving you an extra seating area and perfect for using the hot tub. We had a truly relaxing holiday. The natural pool is superb, like swimming in a movie set. The hosts are lovely and really care. The town is great especially the local pub. Not much was open due to corvid but it really didn't matter we had a great family time (thats with two teenagers and a 24 year old)

I have given the location 3 star only because there is not a lot in walking distance from the lodge however there is plenty a short drive away. Excellent accommodation in a fantastic little set up. Definitely a place you can relax, would definitely return again.
