A traditional wooden lodge set within acres of mature woodland and countryside where you are free to relax, swim, soak and explore, whatever the time of year.

You will be well served within this peaceful oasis where you can relax by the natural swimming pool or stroll through the acres of mature woodland. The complex lies on the edge of the historic market town of Ledbury, where you will find an excellent choice of amenities offering good local food and warm Herefordshire hospitality within walking distance. Known for its unique black and white timber frame cottages, Ledbury is a fascinating place to visit. Lying on the border of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, this ideal location showcases the region's finest country and wealth of historic towns and villages, including the Malvern Hills, or Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester. For the best of both worlds, there is a train station just a short walk away to take a stress-free train ride on the direct Worcester and Hereford line to London.

Drive through the electric gates and into the woodland and as daylight appears again you will gain your first glimpse of the cluster of traditional lodges. The wooden steps will lead you to the terrace where you can step inside to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is spacious with comfortable sofas ready for you to sink into and relax after a day exploring, there is also a TV/DVD for you to enjoy a movie when the nights draw in. The kitchen/diner is set to the rear, the kitchen area is well-equipped with gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area offers seating for everyone to enjoy a meal together. There is also a single bedroom on the ground floor and shower room with shower and WC. So, when the day is done, climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms, a king-size room to the front of the lodge with an enclosed balcony that’s perfect for a morning coffee. There is a further twin bedroom to the rear of the lodge with countryside views. There is a Jack and Jill shower room with shower and WC, this can be accessed from both bedrooms.

Step outside onto the terrace at the rear of the property where there is seating for everyone to enjoy al fresco dining, a great BBQ, outdoor shower and private hot tub. You also have access to the natural outdoor swimming pool, and a shared sauna and shared gym. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We stayed here for a week and cannot recommend it enough. The chalet is very spacious and has all you need with a large decking out front to watch the sun go down. The natural pond is gorgeous, lush to swim in and surrounded by water lilies and huge dragonflies. And there is the hottub. Such a relaxing, idyllic place to stay.
