The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, washing machine and dishwasher. The dining table overlooks the lovely view in this peaceful setting. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds, both with en-suite shower and WC.

Through the double doors from the living room is the patio with a pretty planted border and gorgeous views of the countryside. It’s a fantastic space to relax and enjoy al fresco dining or a morning coffee and observe birdlife and deer, perhaps even catch a glimpse of the resident barn owl affectionately known as WOL. To the south side is an area of lawn and to the rear of the cottage wild flower meadow and trees. The property is approached by its own private driveway and there is parking and turning for two family cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

It was a perfect few days away with our mum, the cottage was exactly what we needed as all on one floor which made getting around easy for her. The wildlife was all there in the field beyond the patio, barn owls, red kites and deer. Location is close to Winchester and a lovely pub 5 stars from us Also a lovely welcome from the host
