A wonderful barn located in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, set within 15 acres of private woodlands. Great walks and cycle routes ready to explore within the South Downs National Park.

A striking barn sat within a beautiful setting overlooking some amazing wildlife, located in the pretty Hampshire village it’s the ideal spot for a romantic getaway or an active break away. The vibrant city of Winchester isn’t far away with a wealth of history and heritage to explore, from the longest Cathedral in Europe to King Arthurs round table at the Great hall, which is all that remains of Winchester Castle.

Walk into this impressive barn through the front double patio doors to a contemporary open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, furnished with everything you need to create some wonderful holiday memories. The lounge area features two comfy sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, surrounding the TV and the dining area is just beyond this, benefiting a table to seat the whole group. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. At the back of the barn is where you will find the king-size bedroom with patio doors leading out to the rear patio, the en-suite shower room with shower and WC completes what this wonderful accommodation has to offer. Leading upstairs from the lounge area you will find an open mezzanine style bedroom with a double bed and a separate toilet. There is also a wooden building housing the tumble dryer for communal use.

Set foot out to the front of the barn into the beautiful woodlands where views of the neighbouring horses grazing can be enjoyed. With a shared outdoor dining area to sit and enjoy some al fresco dining. There is ample parking, just a short walk from the barns over a quaint footbridge.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Stayed at Nettlebed Farm Barn 2 in July 2021 when we had a heatwave in the UK. Lodges were lovely and very well equipped. Perfect for our week's holiday. Ideal size for 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. Ideal base for exploring the likes of Southampton, Portsmouth and Winchester. We could even have travelled a little further afield to the likes of BoRead moreurnemouth, Brighton and Weymouth but we decided not to on this holiday. Would highly recommend! Good location tucked down a lane past horses and stables, peaceful setting with fields and trees all around. Facilities were great and everything was clean and presentable. Beds were comfortable (especially downstairs). Patio furniture was lovely and disposable BBQs were available if needed. The swing by the little bridge was a nice touch. We have just returned from a weeks stay at Nettlebed Farm - 2 adults, 6month and 3yr old. Beautiful and peaceful setting, very helpful and friendly hosts (and neighbors), clean and kitted out very well. We stayed in Barn 2 with our dog The barn was lovely ,clean, modern , well equipped with a large TV. Doors to the back and front with table & chairs. Our dog had a great time running around in the fields opposite our barn Tip take a tick tool. No village shop ,So take some shopping unless you want to travel out to Sainsbury's. What a great place to get away and relax with everything you need for self catering. The barns are beautiful and secluded in a valley where you think your miles from civilisation. The host could not have been more accommodating and has really thought if everything. Would definitely recommend a break here and bring bikes - 5 minute ride to nearest pRead moreub. We absolutely loved our holiday cottage. The barn is beautiful and very well designed with a lot of thought gone into all the finishing touches. It is tucked away in a very quiet place, overlooking trees and the owners horses in a field. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, making you feel that nothing is too much trouble. Lovely property - a great location - feels very rural, yet well located for South Downs / New Forest National parks, Isle of Wight ferries, Winchester - and very handy for good local shopping at Hedge End. Excellent property! Toby provided a fan given the extreme heat of mid August, then went and bought an air cooler in addition as the heat wave continued. I mentioned it would be nice to have a Hoover and one arrived the next day! Property has lots of equipment for cooking, nice touch that foil and cling film provided too. The barn wAs very comfortable and well equipped., and a great location for visiting Hampshire..
