Well situated cottage, warm and cosy, parking absolutely no problem, delightful walk into town alongside the leat. Steep stairs might be a problem for the infirm. On the main A6 road but no traffic noise to speak of at night. Would certainly stay here again.

We had a lovely long weekend at this cottage. It was cosy, well-appointed and in an absolutely amazing location close to the centre of Bakewell. We had such a lovely time at Sugar Cottage, it was really cosy and warm for our family of 4. The furniture, bedding and kitchen appliances are all top of the range. Left us loads of goodies on arrival which went well above expectation. The location is excellent in terms of it's proximity to the town centre being just a 5 minute walk. It is on a maiRead moren road so be careful leaving with young children. Plenty of parking on streets nearby but not outside the house. Hide
