Stay in this detached property for the perfect home from home experience, relax in front of the wood burner or head out and explore the local area and surrounding areas.

The village of Barvas, located on the Isle of Lewis, benefits from a shop, petrol station, two churches and an excellent bus service to Stornoway, also just a short drive away. The Barvas coastline is within walking distance with excellent coastal walks and sea views. There are surfing opportunities, along with other water sports, and lessons are available for novices. This area is a natural habitat for some rare birds including the red throated diver, corncrake and golden eagles, if you are lucky enough to see them. In the winter months you may even get the chance to experience the spectacular northern lights. Monard is a central location to some attractions of interest, including Callanish Stones, Gearranan Black Houses and Carloway Broch. The village of Ness boasts a lighthouse overlooking spectacular cliffs and breath-takingly beautiful beaches.

Entering the property through the rear porch door, and into the utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer, a great spot to leave behind your muddy shoes and coats. Head through to the stylish kitchen/dining, equipped to prepare a family meal with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer.
