This pretty single storey barn conversion, set within the owner’s grounds, is a great bolthole for couples wanting to getaway and enjoy the Worcestershire and Herefordshire countryside.

The hamlet of Lulsley is situated in the Worcestershire countryside, a short distance from the village of Knightwick where you will find a small selection of shops and riverside pub, where you can relax beside the river whilst dining. For walkers and cyclist’s, you can explore The Malvern Hills and Bromyard downs, offering breath taking views across the three counties. For a more leisurely stroll you can take advantage of the circular walks which guide you through Knightwick and onto the Bringsty Common. Well served by the National Trust with The Brockhampton Estate, Hanbury Hall and Gardens, Grey Friars House and Gardens and Croome Court close by. Attractions and market towns in the area include Ledbury, Bewdley home to the Severn Valley Steam Railway, Great Malvern and Tewkesbury.

Enjoy the views across the open countryside as you approach the barn, set within the grounds of the owner’s home, where privacy is assured, with its own gated entrance. You will enter from the rear of the barn where there is space for muddy walking boots and coats. The open-plan space is perfect with vaulted ceiling and exposed A-frame along with the original glazed barn doors that bring in the natural light. You can enjoy relaxing in the lounge area where there is a cosy sofa for two and a TV, there is also a small dining table for two is set to the side. The kitchen area is open and finished with a hand painted bespoke kitchen offering an electric oven and hob, microwave and a fridge with ice compartment. So, when the day is done you will find the double bedroom accessed off the lounge area, and a shower room with shower and WC.

Stepping outside, there is a small area with seating, a prefect little spot to enjoy a morning coffee. There is also off-road gated parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely quiet location, cosy cottage. Ideal for a holiday with your dogs, lots of walks. Great pub within walking distance with tasty food. Welcoming host.

A great location to explore the Malvern Hills area and local National Trust properties. It was a very quiet retreat so that you can appreciate the rural solitude. A warm welcome from the owner who was supportive during our stay.
