Lovely lodge, beautiful location, very warm, some equipment looking a little tired but the beds are spring mattresses and so uncomfortable we left four days early. I raised this with the owner but had no response so guess not interested.

Just back from a lovely holiday staying in kingfisher lodge. Immaculately clean and comfortable, lovely location, had some beautiful walks from the lodge. The Ship inn, a few strides away is a lovely welcoming pub with really good food and drink. Would definately return.

Lovely cottage, in an amazing location. Home from home comfort and when we arrived found all cleaning products where already there. The Ship Inn was also very handy which serves amazing food

Lovely Lodge in a very scenic location, overlooking the river and with the steam railway behind. A pub with nice food and plenty of place to sit outside is just a minute away and the dogs loved the walks beside the river. The garden is gravel but fully enclosed which keeps the dogs safe.

We stayed over the bank holiday week at the end of May 2024. We were looking for a dog friendly location, a little away from any town with a rural feel and close to water. We struck lucky with this property, right on the river, next to a great pub with a good restaurant and close to the steam railway! This property is a gem, situated just a stone's throw from the river, with glorious views upstream of the latter and the wooded verdant slopes on the opposite bank. The Severn Valley Railway station and Engine House are less than 5 minutes walk uphill and there are level walks in either direction along the bank of the river on which to enjoy the trRead moreanquility and quiet of this gorgeous valley. In good weather it is good to chill in the enclosed patio/garden. All in all., a great experience. Hide

Absolutely brilliant the lodge was beautiful I wanted to live there Everything was in there what we needed I would certainly book it again. The pub was lovely the food was outstanding

We had an excellent weeks stay at the Lodge; property very clean, comfortable and with great views. Perhaps the best property we have stayed in with our 3 small dogs so far. If it's wet the local dog walks will be rather muddy, however a short drive away is Comet Wood, part of the Dudmaston Hall estate which is on sandstone, and hence quite dry! MaRead moreny National Trust and English Heritage places to visit, hill forts everywhere further West in the county. The local pub 100 yds away is very friendly Hide

We spent a magical Christmas at The Station Masters Lodge. The location was stunning the view amazing and the sound of the trains magical. We were very comfort had everything we needed . The property was clean and tidy and the owner was friendly and welcoming. Lovely walks with the dog - you never tire of that view. The lodge was fab and suited our needs and the dogs. It was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Local takeaways recommended were great as was the pub. Plenty of places to take the dogs.

We enjoyed our return visit to Station Master's lodge on the banks of the River Severn. We did not have a ride on the steam locomotives which run behind the property but it was good to see them go past. Lovely spot with the pub The Ship 2 minutes walk away which served good food at reasonable prices

This is a lovely Lodge in a beautiful location. It's well equipped and spacious enough for 4 adults sharing. It's so peaceful and relaxing sat in the garden watching the river flow by below. I would like to point out that there are lots of flies and wasps in the area so remember to take some citronella oil/candle/burner so they don't spoil your timRead moree. The Ship Inn is 2 minutes from the Lodge and definitely worth a visit. The food and service are great and it's lovely to sit by the river. Hide

Such a pretty location and view out from the living room. Beer and food at the pub next door are great, very nice walks along the river, be sure to check train timetable and shops/attractions ahead of time - some things aren't open every day

Wonderful stay at Kingfisher Lodge. Beautiful location, enclosed garden and wooden floors throughout, which was perfect for our dogs. Met the owners who were lovely and we booked to stay again, cant wait to go back. The ship Inn is a 1 minutes walk away and serves lovely home cooked food.
