This wonderful bespoke luxurious lodge is located in beautiful rural area on a large working family run farm with a fantastic private hot tub and wonderful loch and countryside scenery to enjoy.

Nestling by the banks of the splendid Bengairn Loch on a 1000 acre working beef and sheep farm and within walking distance of the bonny seaside village of Auchencairn with shop, post office, café, restaurant and beach. The bustling market town of Castle Douglas (Scotland’s Food Town), Dalbeattie and Kirkcudbright (known as the Artists Town) are all within easy reach. Located close to the Solway Firth boasting 200 miles of beautiful coastline, explore Galloway Forest Park, home to the first Dark Sky Park in Europe, and close to some amazing mountain biking tracks including the 7 Stanes. For wildlife and bird enthusiasts enjoy a trip to the RSPB Ken Dee Marshes and explore the red kite trail. Galloway Activity Centre located on banks of Loch Ken offers a great choice of water sports and activities.

Step inside this luxurious, single storey stylish lodge into the hall vestibule perfect place to store your outdoor clothing, through to the spacious open-plan light and bright lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has lovely comfy sofas, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker and an electric wood burner. Perfect to relax and unwind looking through the floor to ceiling windows with French doors leading out to the enclosed balcony with private hot tub, enjoying magnificent loch views over beautiful Bengairn Loch. The dining area has a large dining table with comfortable seating perfect for romantic or family gatherings and to admire the spectacular loch and countryside views. The bespoke stylish kitchen is the perfect place for cooking up a storm with electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, Tassimo coffee machine and a handy dishwasher. There is a delightful twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into a super king-size on request) with access to the patio, beautiful loch and countryside views, Smart TV and a stylish en-suite shower room with WC. Finally completing the accommodation is the beautiful king-size bedroom, also with access to the patio, a Smart TV with wonderful loch and countryside views and stylish en-suite shower room with shower and WC.

Heading outside onto the large patio area you will find the fantastic private hot tub with magnificent loch views over Bengairn Loch. There is also a seating area with comfortable table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining and lazy evening star gazing. Or relax in front of the roaring fire pit and enjoy the wonderful loch views, perhaps with a wee dram, some good local ale or a nice glass of wine. There is ample private off-road parking next to the lodge, an electric car charging point and secure bike storage is available.

Exceptional Lodge in a beautiful setting overlooking a lake. Simply lovely! The lodge is fitted with high end quality furniture and furnishings. One of the nicest properties that we have ever been in. The lodge is beautiful with lots of luxurious touches, the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The owners were lovely and left a beautiful welcome basket with lots of goodies. The location and view from lodge is stunning and just what was needed for a relaxing stay. From the moment you reach the top of the single track lane and look down on the loch and the lodges, you know you're in for a special stay. Fiona and Robin are the perfect hosts and welcome pack is a nice touch. The lodge itself (Holly) is well built, cosy and the views across the loch (and beyond) are stunning. Stunning lodges in a beautiful location, we were only gutted we had to leave. Definitely recommend staying at Baingairn Lodges (if you can manage to find a week I haven't booked ). It's just so peaceful and relaxing, and the owners are lovely. We can't wait to stay again.

Beautiful lodge in lovely, peaceful setting. Great care has been taken to ensure all fixtures and fittings are of a high standard. The owners are friendly and welcoming. A welcome basket is provided for you on arrival with some delicious treats and there are even fresh roses in a vase. Top notch accommodation!

Beautiful setting and lodge was everything you could want for a week away. Loved waking up to view of the loch, very peaceful and spent many hours outside looking at the view. Good location and lots of lovely coastal walks. Robin and Fiona were great hosts. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future

We had the most relaxing and tranquil holiday located on a beautiful small loch teeming with wildlife from deer to swans, and with great views. Beautiful decorated and equipped lodge situated next to a lock, a welcome box of local produce greeted us. Ideal for watching the many species of wildlife. Unique as there are only four lodges and therefore very peaceful. A hidden gem in a area of outstanding natural beauty, previously undiscovered by us. Will definitely revisit.

Holly Lodge is beautifully appointed and everything is there for your comfort. It is in a wonderful location right by the loch with wonderful views and a great base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway.

Perfectly equipped lodge in beautiful surroundings! Bengairn is a magical place from the sunsets to watching the wildlife. Wonderful location, truly idyllic in terms of view and so peaceful. Accommodation standard excellent, you'll miss nothing and the tub after a hard day's walking very welcome. Excellent base to strike out either on foot or by car to take in the surrounding countryside and villages.

The moment we saw the sun glistening off the loch as we turned down the drive we knew we were in for a treat! What a beautiful stunning setting. This property is all it advertises and more. Robin and Fiona are the most considerate of owners and are happy to do anything for you to make your stay as good as it can be. Just something to be aware of if you like eating out, is that everything is a reasonable drive away. That said it didnt affect our holiday as everywhere we ate was lovely.

Very well equipped lodge in a beautiful setting beside the small Glengairn loch. Excellent attention to detail with comfortable beds and seating in the lounge. Lovely outside patio with table and chairs, barbecue and hot tub. We had a lovely week.

This was a real paradise, with lake, wildlife, and perfect views from cottage. Fiona and Robin were excellent hosts. Cottage facilities including wireless, TV and hot tub were excellent. I have already booked to go back in October.

Fantastic property, excellent location and brilliant hosts. Plenty to see from the windows or patio, we saw deer, swans, ducks, geese, moorhens, and the icing on the cake, red kite.
