Both king-size bedrooms are found here on the first floor either side of the mezzanine: one with an en-suite shower room with WC, the other with an en-suite bathroom with bath and WC.

Access to the property is along a private drive. The gated courtyard at the front of the house has ample parking for up to three cars. The garden at the rear of the house is accessed through the patio doors which are incorporated within the full-height window at the back of the house that rises up to the mezzanine level above. On arrival we found out we had no heating - the owner was extremely apologetic as he explained we should have been informed by the company we booked through. We had a lovely stay and the house was beautiful. we are hoping to return. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds extremely comfy. Had a lovely relaxing time.

The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. It is quiet and we never saw any of the neighbours. The mezzanine was wonderful but did mean people retiring early need to keep their bedroom doors shut to keep noise from the tv travelling up. A car is essential even for hikers as there is no safe access to the many lovely walks.

An incredibly well equipped property in a lovely quiet location. Plenty of space to relax, good selection of books, games, DVDs and leaflets for days out on the island. We've visited the Isle of Wight many times and it's rare that we go back to the same place...but this time we are very tempted to rebook Middle Barn.
