A beautiful coastal property providing a brilliant base to explore the heart of North Devon. Enjoy chilled summers' days in the garden with far-reaching sea views.

The property is a short walk from Westward Ho!, which boasts a beautiful 2-mile sandy beach and unique pebble ridge linking to the Northam Burrows Country Park. This popular seaside town offers an array of cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and family entertainment. You can enjoy the South West Coast Path and lovely walks across the Burrows and cliff tops. For golfing enthusiasts, the property directly overlooks the par 3 short course. Nearby beaches with good surf breaks include Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands, with the fishing village of Appledore, which annually hosts its famous book festival, also nearby.

This reverse-level property has a spacious entrance hall - a perfect place to hang coats and store sandy shoes after a day on the beach. Downstairs, you will find the four stylish bedrooms. The first is a king-size benefiting from far-reaching views, an en-suite shower room with WC, Smart TV and also patio doors leading out to the rear garden. The next is a king-size with a Smart TV and patio doors leading out to the rear garden and of course the further far-reaching views. The third bedroom to the front is a delightful king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a small twin on request). Finally, the fourth is a cheerful twin bedroom. The ground floor also has a contemporary bathroom with separate shower, bath with hand-held shower attachment and WC. There is also a useful utility cupboard on this floor with a washer/dryer as well as a coat and shoe cupboard for useful extra storage. Head to the first floor where you will find a bright and elegant open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which boasts bifold doors on each side leading to a large double balcony with panoramic views of the golf course and the sea. This spacious balcony is great for soaking up the sun or stargazing in the evening with its big sky view. The welcoming lounge is ideal for kicking back and relaxing in front of the Smart TV and snuggle up sofas. The light and attractive dining area is ideal whether you’re enjoying a snack at the breakfast bar or sitting down to a special meal at the large designer table. If you do decide to stay in and cook, there is a well-equipped, stylishly designed, riftwood-effect kitchen. It has an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, wine cooler and fridge/freezer. You don’t even need to do the dishes as there is a dishwasher in the kitchen to do the work for you.

Venturing outside, you can relax at the end of the day in the enclosed rear garden area where there is a patio area with garden furniture, perfect for outside dining, as well as a BBQ and solar heated outside shower for sandy toes and paws! (There are also blankets too for our furry friends in the utility cupboard so they can snooze after their active days). Off-road parking for two cars is available outside the property.

The house was very good, everybody loved the area, the view over the salt marshes to the rear. 10 minute walk to the center of town and all of the amenities. Everybody had a lovely time and went home feeling fully relaxed and ready to go again. Would we go back, yes of course, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay
