Enjoy An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and explore the Shropshire Hills, join the Mary Webb trail, The Shropshire Way and walks in the Mortimer Forest. Whatever your interest from walking to cycling, fishing to culinary delights or shopping to the arts, it’s on your doorstep in this all year round destination for friends and family.

Detached luxury lodge with stylish interior and all your creature comforts with panoramic windows making the most of its waterside location overlooking the pool. The bright and airy kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher with all the thoughtful little extras to rustle up a meal. The utility cupboard houses the washer/dryer and a separate WC by the front door. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is flooded with natural light, just perfect to relax in and enjoy the view. Enjoy afternoon tea at the breakfast bar or a leisurely meal at the dining table. Bring the outside in and slide back the doors and listen to birdsong over your meal. After dinner settle down on the comfortable sofa, plan your activities, watch a film on the Smart TV with Netflix or light the wood burner and read a good book. To the left of the living area is the master bedroom with king-size bed, Smart TV, dressing room and en-suite shower room with WC, enjoy a refreshing shower to start the day. To the right of the living area is the second bedroom with super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be twin on request) and en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Enjoy a bubble bath or leisurely shower. Both the bedrooms been designed for a good nights sleep with good quality linen, soft towels and fabulous views over the water to wake up to.

Outside you have a private patio with table, chairs and BBQ overlooking the fishing pool with visiting wildlife, lawn area and the lockable store with lighting accessed to the side of the lodge for your bikes or fishing gear. The lodge has a small wooded area to the rear of the lodge, perfect for picnics in the shade. It is set in 20 acres of grounds for you to explore. Fishing in the five fishing pools and craft workshops are available on site by prior arrangement with the owner. Ample private parking on site.

I would most certainly recommend this property, the property itself is fantastic,but also the fishing on five beautiful lakes is bonus, the property is situated 3 miles from Ludlow a very nice market town and well worth a look, Clee hill and many other walks are in the area, a superb Lodge and base.

Our family of four had a fantastic stay in Swan Lodge, and will definitely be looking to rebook. It was clean, modern and very well furnished, with everything you could want from a self-catering property. Would highly recommend!

Swan Lodge is beautiful, well furnished, spotless and well equipped. It is situated in huge grounds by a very tranquil fishing lake with amazing views from every window. The perfect spot for a holiday.

It was a delightful location by a large fishing lake with great views The lodge was on a private part of the lake only accessible to the occupants of the lodge

We have just returned from a holiday at Swan Lodge. What a beautiful place and the Lodge is absolutely gorgeous. Fishing is great even the children caught fish. As soon as you set foot in the lodge you are relaxed. Only negative is no pubs or restaurants in walking distance however we enjoyed being at the Lodge so much we didn't mind staying in eveRead moren when the weather was bad. Definately would recommend Swan Lodge especially if you want to chill Hide

We loved staying at Swan Lodge and had a fantastic week exploring this lovely area. The property has a fabulous view over one of the pools, the windows letting light flood in. This is a beautiful lodge in a stunning location. The owners have really thought about everything you might want from a holiday cottage - luxury; comfort; and equipped to a high standard with everything you could need - plus a stunning lakeside location with beautiful views from every room! We really enjoyed our relaxing retreat.
