This is a great base to explore the coast and country of Norfolk, head to the coast and explore the sandy beaches or visit The Wash National Nature Reserve with nature trails, visitor centre and cafe. Head to the Sandringham Estate with picturesque country house, museum of royal life and 40 acres of gardens. A short drive to King’s Lynn with shops and restaurants, and a golf course for those who enjoy sports in nearby Downham Market and Kings Lynn. For those wishing to pursue country sports there is pay per day coarse fishing available at Woodlakes ,Manor Farm Lakes and the Great Ouse Relief Channel. Head inland to Thetford Forest Park for a day out with the family, with trails and picnic areas, and various activities for children and adults including archery.
You enter the property through the front door into a lobby area where on the right is the large and well-equipped kitchen area which has an electric range oven and gas hob, a fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a breakfast island with six chairs should you wish to enjoy some breakfast or some light lunch. There is a separate utility room off from the kitchen with two washing machines and a tumble dryer. There is also a ground floor cloakroom to store coats and shoes. Back through the kitchen you have a smaller lounge area which has its own wood burner, two sofas and a wing armchair along with a TV/DVD which provides a fantastic spot to unwind a watch a film. The main lounge area follows on from here which also has a wood burner along with three large sofas complete with a large Smart TV which also provides the perfect setting for friends and family alike to unwind. Off this room there is video den full of beanbags for children and adults alike. The large dual aspect book lined family dining area completes the downstairs layout and offers a formal dining experience for up to 14 guests. Up to the first floor on your right is the spacious king-sized bedroom with views out onto the stunning grounds. Heading down the hallway the first bedroom is a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with storage space. The shower room and WC is next along, followed by a further double bedroom a twin bedroom and a family bathroom with separate bath, shower and W/C.
Access to the enclosed walled rear garden is via the kitchen and garden furniture is provided should you wish to experience some al-fresco dining outside. Guests also have the use of a BBQ. The property is set in approx. two acres of land, but please note only the rear garden is enclosed should you wish to let your dogs out. To the front of the property is a large driveway with parking available for multiple cars.
