Yes 100%. The property was absolutely perfect. Kirsty, the owner was there to answer any questions we had at any time of the day. She couldn't do enough for us. Cannot wait to return next year :)

What a superb cottage and location. Beautiful scenery and amazing cottage - retaining old features but modern and cosy with all the mod cons and a great welcome from the host. We loved the hot tub and log burner. Perfect for a relaxing break. We will definitely be back!

The cottage was spotlessly clean and comfortable and a warm welcome was provided by Kirsty. We appreciated the milk, bread, butter eggs, cakes and scones etc which were provided. The cottage is a really interesting conversion of a blacksmith's workshop, retaining many features. Enjoyed the local walks as well as those a bit further afield around AlRead morelendale and Hadrian's Wall. Also enjoyed the dark skies. Jills Catering in Catton and the Whitfield Pantry were great for light meals and snacks. Hide
