Set in a pretty village with stunning views looking across to Skiddaw. Set in the beautiful Lake District National Park close to lots of local attractions.

The bungalow is situated in the pretty village of Blindcrake opposite the village green. The property sits in an acre garden with views across stunning Skiddaw. There are some fabulous walks from the front door, for those who like a tipple and are keen walkers The Lakeland Distillery is just four miles away and offers a great day out. William Wordsworth’s birthplace, Cockermouth is just four miles away, it is a pretty little town with a great selection of independent shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Beautiful Bassenthwaite Lake is under five miles away, there is a shore path which runs the length of the West shore and an open-air theatre at Mirehouse which is worth a visit.

From the bright hallway, you will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen, the lounge has the most amazing views over Skiddaw from a large picture window. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. From the kitchen there is a conservatory to the back of the property which overlooks the garden and is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast while watching the birds and wildlife. There are three bedrooms accessed from the hallway, a king-size bedroom with views across Skiddaw a double bedroom and a twin with built in wardrobes which overlook the garden. At the end of the hallway opposite the lounge there is a family bathroom with a walk in shower and WC.

There is decking to the front of the house to sit out and enjoy the views and a large garden with a small stream which runs near the bottom of the gated entrance. There is access either from the rear of the property or from the village via a hard core track and ample private parking for up to three cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Large Garden is Great if you have dogs, it is fenced on all sides, although dogs would need supervision. Able to exercise the dog without leaving the property. Fantastic views!

The property and location was just gorgeous! The bungalow was so clean and we had everything we needed! Only note I would make is the garden isnt 100% secure for small dogs as they can get through the gap at the bottom of the gate - ended up using the bins as a barrier. Would book again as we had a lovely time!!

We had a lovely week long stay at Lowland Fells. The property is nicely decorated and very comfortable. It is set in a very quiet village which is perfect if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of the Lakes. The property has everything that you need for a comfortable stay and the added touches of a welcome pack for oRead moreur dogs and a bottle of wine for us were a very nice touch. Very comfortable accommodation in great setting located in pretty village with wonderful views from the sitting room. Helpful management company who quickly resolved a boiler problem. Good for dogs although boundaries not totally secure.

This was a beautiful cottage with a modern style. Perfect distance from all the lakes, a nice drive away with stunning views where ever you go. Very clean cottage with all the needed facilities. Would definitely re-book!

Lowland Fails Unfortunately, sadly our experience was poor. Welcomed by terrible smells. The extension absolutely stinks and had to be reported meaning several visits by property management and owner etc. I had to clean the property on arrival due to filthy light switches/worktops & hairs on furniture/furnishings. A wonderful cottage in a quiet and beautiful location, we loved the facilities provided for our dog! Dog Treats and a basket were a really lovely and unexpected addition to the accommodation.
