Ideally located in the heart of Devon and a great base from which to explore the area, this family friendly farm offers plenty for all ages, at any time of the year

Located in a rural spot between the villages of Winkleigh and Dolton making this an ideal base from which to explore and to enjoy many walks directly from the cottage. Enjoy the animals on site, walk with the Alpacas (by arrangement) or see the goats, sheep, lambs (seasonal) and chickens or wander down to the lakes and enjoy a picnic. Other attractions close by including sandy beaches at Westward Ho!, Saunton, and Croyde. RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and the quaint cliff side fishing village at Clovelly to name but a few. Families are well catered for with The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks. Walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail where you can hire bikes and pedal away traffic free. Keen on fishing, then a visit to the neighbouring Stafford Moor Fishery is a must.

On entering the cottage you are immediately in the lounge/diner with exposed beams, an electric fire, comfy seating and Smart TV/DVD, the perfect place to relax, and the dining table offers plenty of room for everyone to sit together and enjoy a meal or takeaway. On into the kitchen, which is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading upstairs there are two bedrooms one king-size and one twin zip-and-link (which could be made into a super-king on request at booking) and a further single bed. The shower room completes the accommodation with a double shower and WC also an additional shower room with WC.

Stepping outside is an enclosed garden area with garden furniture and use of a shared secure shed where you can store cycles, top boxes and surfboards etc. Ample parking for two cars

We recently stayed at Honey suckle Cottage with some friends for a long weekend. We were welcomed by Stuart and Cathy , very friendly and helpful. The cottage was beautiful, very clean with everything you could need. We were given a tour of the farm the next day, alpacas are great, all have names! Lovely cottage on a lovely farm. Lots of animals to see and walks around the farm. The owners are very nice and helpful. This was our first holiday since lockdown, everything was spotlessly clean; they made us feel very safe and relaxed. Fantastic property and the animals were a real bonus. Great owners who could not have done more to welcome us. We all really enjoyed the tour of the animals! Hope we can return and stay again one day!

We have just had one of the best weeks holidays at Honeysuckle cottage. On arrival Cathy and Stuart greeted us and made us feel so welcome. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped with the added bonus of being able to see and interact with the animals on the farm. My son thoroughly enjoyed "helping" feed the animals and milk the goaRead morets. He learnt a lot from Stuart. Cathy and Stuart have something very special here and we can't wait to come back. Hide

The cottage was equipped to a very high standard (the best we have ever experienced) and was immaculate. The standard of furnishing was excellent with comfortable beds and sofas. Towels and bed linen were provided along with a welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits.

Stuart and Cathy made us feel instantly at home. The cottage was immaculate and extremely comfortable, and a smart TV with Netflix and Prime was a huge added bonus. We had a great week staying at Honeysuckle cottage! The cottage itself is very well equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay.
