One of two cottages set in the heart of Devon. Unique experiences can be enjoyed with Alpaca walking being offered on site as well as goats, sheep and chickens. Its a family friendly place and a great base for a your holiday at any time of the year.

Ideally located in the heart of Devon, this newly refurbished cottage completed in 2020 offers a great base from which to explore the area. Enjoy the animals on site, walk with the Alpacas (by arrangement) or see the goats, sheep, lambs (seasonal) and chickens or wander down to the lakes and enjoy a picnic. There is much to see and do in the area with lots of golden sandy beaches at Westward Ho! Saunton and Woolacoombe. Family attractions will delight the younger ones with The Big Sheep and Milky Way adventure parks. Other attractions include RHS Rosemoor, or the Tarka Trail where you can walk, hire bikes and cycle, traffic free.

Stepping into this cottage you are greeted by a lounge/diner with wood burner, exposed beams and comfy seating, relax and watch your favourite programmes on the Smart TV/DVD. The kitchen is well fitted and equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher. A shared washing machine can be found in the outbuilding just outside your front door. Moving upstairs there are two bedrooms, one king size and one twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a king size on request). The bathroom completes the accommodation and offers a bath, with shower over and WC.

Heading outside there is a private enclosed garden with seating and a separate secure shed where you can store cycles, top boxes and surfboards.

Lovely cottages in a perfect location. The owners were very welcoming and the cottages were well equipped. Lovely to find Christmas trees in each cottage.

We had a lovely time at Rose cottage. The cottage is fully equipped and clean. The kids loved interacting with the animals. Stuart and Cathy are very friendly and helpful, they helped us make the most of our trip. We highly recommend Venton Farm

We had a brilliant stay at Rose cottage. Rose cottage is very warm and comfortable and a good night sleep was had on a very comfortable bed. The cottage had everything we needed. Walking the alpacas was great fun and a must. Cathy and Stuart made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely weeks holiday at this wonderful farm. The owners were friendly, welcoming and sent a helpful local summary of places to visit. Rose Cottage is a lovely spacious, well equipped cottage, where all home comforts have been thought of and met. From soft furnishings to ample bedroom storage in both bedrooms. The Alpaca walk around the farRead morem, lake and woodlands was one of the highlights for us, as were the charasmatic goats. We would highly recommend this cottage and will return again. Hide

Lovely cottage with owners, Cathy & Stuart who were so friendly they made us feel like part of the family! It was great to be able to get involved with the animals on the farm and walking the alpacas was an experience that I would recommend to anyone! We had a fabulous stay in Rose Cottage everything we required was available. The setting was peaceful but also entertaining for the children. My two children thoroughly enjoyed farm life and Cathy and Stuart were more than happy for them to participate. Wonderful hosts, fabulous stay.... we hope to see them again!

The cottage is in a lovely setting with a brilliant secure garden for the dogs. The beds have Emma mattresses which were extremely comfortable. A brand new bathroom which was spotless. The owners Cathy and Stuart and very friendly and welcoming. They are always on hand to assist with any queries. We had a lovely time in a home from home cottage. PaRead morerking is outside the front door of the cottage. The TV has smart functions, take your log in codes for Netflix and Amazon! A relaxing stay. Hide
