Ideal location set on a quiet street only a few minutes’ walk from the heart of the Lakes with both Windermere and Bowness within walking distance.

Situated in the popular Lake District town of Bowness-on-Windermere, this contemporary and well-designed apartment with beautiful garden is both spacious and comfortable, with a very warm and welcoming feel. Set back from the main street, in a quiet location, makes this the perfect base for a couple or family to experience everything the lakes has to offer. The location is very peaceful, yet only a short walk will bring you to the vibrant town of Bowness-On-Windermere with all it has to offer, from pubs and restaurants to cafés, delis and coffee shops & cinema. Or a short walk in the other direction will bring you to the town centre of Windermere with its own selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. During the day, head down to the shore of Lake Windermere, take in the beautiful views before joining a tour of the lake via the steamboats or if you prefer, hire some Kayaks and have your own mini adventures.

On entering the property, you firstly enter the grand open-plan kitchen/diner with large bay windows which are themselves a suntrap. The kitchen is a cook’s dream with space a plenty and everything you need to cook up a storm with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a dining table and chairs. Along the corridor to the spacious lounge with two leather sofas and Smart TV, a perfect spot to relax with a film after a day’s exploring. There is a separate WC opposite the lounge. Go down the stairs to the lower ground floor and on the left is the first of the bedrooms which holds a double bed and en-suite shower room with shower only. Moving along to the next double bedroom having plenty of storage space and retaining many of the old property’s features plus patio doors leading to the garden area. On the other side of the bedroom we have the en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside the spacious garden has patio, decking and covered seating areas. Roadside parking is available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely house, great location. The kitchen is well equipped and the fridge and freezer are huge! The garden is also really nice. The house is warm and well insulated - very helpful in the Lakes. However, the WiFi situation needs work - its patchy at best on the first floor and non existent downstairs! Not sure it can be advertised as WiFi to be honeRead morest! Hide
