A luxury annexe in the area of the Quantock Hills in Somerset. Decorated in a contemporary and stylish manner, this property is perfect for celebrating, relaxing or exploring.

Situated in the pretty Medieval town of Ilminster, with its array of local shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. There is a vast choice of walks from your doorstep, from farm tracks to bridleways, walk the old railway track from Ilminster to the market town of Chard, or visit the Blackdown Hills. Retail therapy can also be found at Clarks Village and the larger towns of Yeovil and Taunton. Explore the famous World Heritage Jurassic coastline where you can go fossil hunting on Charmouth beach or visit Lyme Regis, Dorset’s iconic seaside town. Nearby are National Trust's Barrington Court, Lytes Cary Manor and Montacute House and don’t forget to visit Glastonbury, Cheddar, Wells, or the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels.

When upon entering the property, you will be greeted by immaculate accommodation, comprising of an open-plan living space. The comfortable lounge area has a sofa and easy chair, next to the chair you will find two USB charging ports for your phones and tablets, there is also a TV which is connected to SKY Q-box and a flame effect electric fire making the lounge space very cosy. The shaker style cream kitchen is fully equipped comprising of an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, large wine chiller, fridge/freezer with cold water dispenser on the door, washing machine and tumble dryer. The sink area has a hot tap for all your hot drink needs however, there is also a coffee machine within the kitchen area. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a contemporary shower room with a large shower and WC. ALEXA controls the stair lighting, bedroom lighting and one bedside light, giving a book reader control of the second bedside light. When it’s time to retreat to your bedroom you will find waiting for you a good size bedroom with exposed ceiling beams and comfortable king-size bed for a restful night sleep. The dressing area has ample clothing storage in the four double wardrobes and a good size dressing table. The en-suite bathroom has been built into the eaves of the property giving you a WC and bath to soak away the days adventures with mood lighting and candles (electric) to set the scene.

Heading outside from the back door is the outside space it is decked and fully enclosed with table and chairs, it is a morning suntrap, enjoy your morning coffee, or in the evening drink a glass of wine to unwind from the day, there is a power source by the seating area for laptops, just inside of the back door are two USB charging ports for your electric devices, with rear gate access if you like walking. There are many walks in the area some very rugged and others flat and level. If you have a four-legged friend or if you wish to wash your boots you will also have a dog shower facility. There is also off-road parking for one car at the front of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This is a very well equipped, spotlessly clean, comfortable annexe of the owners home. We were made very welcome by the friendly hosts. The property is some distance from the coast, but there are properties and other attractions to visit nearby. There are several good pub restaurants within easy reach. Wow what an absolutely stunning property, the quality of fixtures and fittings, bedroom linen, towels was sublime equal to a luxury hotel. Great property all round. Ideal location for walking into town but also for accessing some great walks, ie Dillington House and old railway line. Property is small but has been cleverly designed to make the most out of the space available. Extremely well equipped and useful to have washer/dryer & fridge/freezer. Property is an excellent design, maximising the use of space. Friendly and helpful host. Great location for enabling drives to coasts of Somerset, Dorset and both north and south Devon.

This is a beautiful property and as soon as you walk through the door it feels like home. It has everything you need and all in excellent condition. The location was perfect as we could easily get to every where we wanted to see with only a short drive.

Really lovely modern property. The owner has thought of everything, even down to dog bowls! The bed was lovely and comfortable, with really food wardrobe space. A really lovely bath. It's lovely and dark at night and we found it really peaceful. A pub and spar shop within walking distance. The town with a tesco also within walking distance too for Read morea bit a longer walk. The property was everything you could wish for. Just perfect in every way. The owners had thought of everything you would need for a luxury stay. Even a gift and card for our anniversary! The only downside was that we had to travel 40 mins to 60 mins to visit locations with beaches or attractions we wanted to visit. A lot of driving. The owners were lovely, very helpful and were on hand if we needed anythg. Communication was 10/10. Great touches with the chocolates, prosecco, Bath robes and even down to the doggy treats and dog towels. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
