This charming cosy cottage offers centrally located accommodation in the heart of the historic town of Tenterden, perfect for couples and families looking for a base in the heart of Kent.

Set in the charming Kent market town of Tenterden, this property is just a short stroll from the local independent shops, pubs, tearooms and restaurants. The local area has so much to offer, visitors can enjoy a guided tour and sample locally produced wines at both Chapel Down Vineyard and Biddenden vineyard, or enjoy a brewery tour at the The Old Dairy Brewery before hopping on a steam train at the Kent and East Sussex railway to nearby Bodiam Castle for a fun family day out. The historic Sissinghurst Castle Garden is a short drive by car, while the fantastic Kent and East and Sussex coastline can be reached in little over half an hour.

The cottage entrance opens into the charming lounge/diner, there is a wood burner, TV/DVD, comfy sofas, a relaxing armchair and a dining table with seating for all, this is a great space in which to unwind after a long day exploring the local area. A door from the lounge/diner leads through to the kitchen where you will find everything that you would expect for whipping up a delicious family meal, an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. A door from the kitchen leads out into the pretty courtyard area and the ground floor is completed with a shower room with shower and WC. Stairs from the lounge/diner lead up to the first floor where there is a cosy reading area with a sofa and armchair, and three comfortable bedrooms, two doubles and a single. There is also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

excellent location, everything a walk, parking on the property. good facilities, roomy bedrooms and sufficient comfy seating in the evening for all guests. no criticisms at all.
