A fantastically appointed, unique, historic property which has been sensitively converted and beautifully furnished throughout. We will definitely be booking The Gatehouse again!

The location is beautiful, quiet and restful yet is only a relatively short drive from main access roads. The property itself is unique and exudes a real sense of history; furniture perfectly compliments the building; comfort and cleanliness are second to none and equipment is of the highest quality.

The gatehouse is even more beautiful than the photos suggest. Everything inside is maintained to a high standard and is spotlessly clean. Excellent and fascinating accommodation. Wonderful use of new timber to match that of the 15th century. Modern facilities excellent. We would have liked a bathroom at the same level as the bed but that would not be feasible. Likewise we could not carry cooked food to the living space so ate in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.
