This is a truly magical place. It is a home, not a hotel in light disguise, with memorable, profound beauty leavened by occasional eccentricity. The lodge has been modernized to make it properly comfortable, with central heating and good bathrooms, but if youre expecting California King beds, you will find traditional Scottish doubles - and as the Read morelow lintels on the doors prove, the Scots were rarely tall in the 1860s. Breathe deep, enjoy the views, the falls, the woods and the birds. Hide

What a great time we had! All made that bit better with the comforts of the well equipped Divach Lodge. A great location well out of the way of major traffic and noise. We would certainly look to hire again.

On the whole, this was a wonderful property to spend a holiday in, the location spectacular and the character of the house highly original. There were just a few things that could easily be improved for a better value for money rating. We had problems accessing WiFi in the bedrooms, despite the two different possible connections.
