Lovely cottage, very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The only piece of constructive criticism would be, as others have suggested, that blinds are needed on the big window in the lounge for privacy, as well as the two external doors in the kitchen, although the glass is frosted on those. The car park is very close and we had no issues with findiRead moreng a space or security. All in all, a lovely break, thank you. Hide

Three of us, school friends in our 40s, had a wonderful long weekend. It is very well equipped, from kitchenware to Wainwright's to maps to herbs. It's location is excellent if you want to be close to central Kendal. Beds etc very comfortable. Owners have thought about all the small things. We really enjoyed our stay and although normally prefer toRead more be more central to the Lakes (eg Grasmere) will definitely prioritise this place whenever we want Kendal or not to be central lakes.
