Popular with families, nature lovers and kite-surfers throughout the year, Old Hunstanton is a very popular, peaceful and scenic coastal village ideal for families or friends alike. Ideally located to explore the wonders of the Norfolk coastline, you are just short walk from the popular Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton, famous for its own superb coastline and is great for a family day out with its own resident fun fair and sea life centre. Keen golfers will also love Old Hunstanton for its championship golf course and for nature lovers this is an ideal location with Pensthorpe and Titchwell nature reserves within easy reach along with Blakeney Point where you can take a boat trip out to see the resident seal colony. Old Hunstanton itself has a handy shop with a post office, a beach cafe, and three welcoming foody pubs, but for more culinary and shopping options head to the vibrant market towns of Holt, Fakenham and trendy Burnham Market which are all within easy reach.

Guests enter the property and arrive in the lobby which leads through to the kitchen area and the rest of property. Off from the lobby area is a ground floor shower room and WC which is perfect if you have been playing on the sandy beach all day and need to wash away the sand from your feet. Located in the shower room is a combi washer/dryer so you can wash and dry your clothes out ready for another day of exploring. There is also a snug with a sofa, TV and PlayStation 3 games console. The kitchen is well-equipped, boasting an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The lounge area is to the left of the kitchen and is spacious yet cosy with its large sofas, Smart TV and large wood burner perfect for the colder months. Heading back through the kitchen you will need to "Duck and Grouse" into the dining area which has a nautical themed décor and is the perfect family get together space for an evening meal to talk about the adventures that day and ahead. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom is a king-size with plenty of storage space, the second bedroom is also a king size and the third is a twin room. There is a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC upstairs too.

The enclosed outdoor space is accessed via the French doors in the lounge and the owner has provided a table and chairs to relax in the garden and take in the sea breeze.

Lovely clean, comfortable and well equiped cottage in great position. Although on main road through Old Hunstanton there is little traffic noise.

We really enjoyed our time in the cottage. We found it clean and tidy, and a true representation of the website listing. It's in a great location in Old Hunstanton. Our stay at Blacksmiths cottage was all we could ask for and more , Very spacious, warm and welcoming,cosy and in a wonderful location. We will definitely be hoping for a return visit next year.

We enjoyed our time at this cottage. The location is excellent, especially if you have a dog to walk. There are eateries nearby and not far to drive to try others. There are quite a few changes in elevation within the house, steps up or down into different rooms so it may not be ideal for those with mobility difficulties. This is a spacious, well equipped cottage, located only a short walk to Old Hunstanton beach and just down the road from the Lodge Restaurant. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and having tea, coffee, jam, marmalade, butter, kitchen towel, toilet roll, dishwasher tabs, washing tabs and washing-up liquid already in the cottage meant we didnt need Read moreto rush out to Tesco. A really great cottage, well located for the beach and village. Comfortable and spacious living accommodation, well equipped kitchen, very comfy beds and a sun trap garden. We had a wonderful time there.

An excellent location for the beach, pubs and access to coastal towns. The cottage was perfect for three couples and two small dogs spending their time walking, cycling and birdwatching. The dining room has a large table, living room is large but cosy and the kitchen is well equipped. The three double/twin bedrooms have comfortable beds and good stRead moreorage. Old. hunstanton is a lovely area to stay. Many fine houses and a short and safe walk down to the beaches which are magnificent. The house is large with generous bedrooms and very well equipped.

A great cottage for friends to get together,3 good size bedrooms with comfortable beds. A fabulous dining room and extremely well equipped kitchen.
