Stroll around the harbour at Craster and sample the seafood or spend a day at Earl Grey’s ancestral home, Howick Hall’s with its beautiful gardens The stunning beach at Beadnell is nearby and the wonderful seaside villages of Seahouses and Bamburgh are within easy reach and with Alnwick with its famous castle and gardens, there is always plenty to do and see.
Access the property from the rear door into a small hallway. The welcoming open plan lounge and dining area is bright and airy. You can relax on a comfortable sofa and two easy chairs while watching internet TV and sit together for meals at the generous dining table. The modern, well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge with icebox, small freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine. There is a spacious shower room with a lovely walk-in shower, hand wash basin and WC. Head up two steps to the bedrooms; a pretty double with plenty of light streaming through the window and skylight, both with blackout blinds for a great night’s sleep and a twin bedroom with a skylight window and blackout blind. the beds are zip and link which can become one king-size bed upon request. From the hallway, a door leads out to the garden at the rear, while the front door has a small vestibule with coat hooks and leads out to the street.
Outside, from the rear door walk across a small shared access area and up 4 steps to the raised garden with a paved patio area and a table and chairs where you can enjoy al-fresco dining or a morning coffee. Parking is off-road for two cars either through the rear garden gate on the gravelled area, to the side of the property or, on-street in front of the cottage.
