Lovely stay. View from outside seating area was great. Seating area was quite close to the other cottages seat area. Stair case is quite wobbly and upstairs is quite creaky. Lane Barton Dream Cottage is amazing, fantastic facilities and the vista is amazing. Derek and Angie are so friendly and engaging, and do everything possible to make your stay amazing. We were given a beautiful treat of scones, jam and clotted cream which was amazing and just the icing on the cake.

Hosts were brilliant. Cottage lovely with good kitchen and lounge; both well equipped. Perfect view over countryside and the shetland cows! Cream tea was much appreciated. Excellent standard of Covid safety requirements. A few improvements listed above would elevate it more. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

A lovely cottage in a great location, quiet but close to the village and easy reach of Bideford. Really comfortable, squeaky bed! Great kitchen and private hot tub was amazing. Derek and Angie were really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, we had an amazing, relaxing time and will visit again.

Dream cottage is lovely, the views are spectacular and the location is excellent for getting around. We spent much of our week cycling on the Tarka trail which is really good fun. Angie and Derek the owners are also really lovely too.

Cottage was warm and comfortable and very well equipped. Hot tub was a nice treat - suggest you take bath robes and flip flops as you have to walk outside the cottage to reach it. Owners were friendly and helpful and we arrived to a cream tea which was very welcome!

We had a lovely time in our cottage over the Christmas period. The place is surrounded by natural beauty, and has been dressed on the inside in a way that compliments this. It is warm, cozy, comfortable, and a real home away from home. The owners had also decorated the place for Christmas, which really added to the experience for us. Such an amazing cottage and location was very picturesque. We both had a brilliant time and looking forward to coming back again. Both loved the little welcome cream tea, milk and bottle off wine. Owners off the cottage were both very lovely and even came back in the evening to light the fire for us.
