We had a lovely time in our cottage over the Christmas period. The place is surrounded by natural beauty, and has been dressed on the inside in a way that compliments this. It is warm, cozy, comfortable, and a real home away from home. The owners had also decorated the place for Christmas, which really added to the experience for us. There is a smaRead morell town nearby to get essential items, but a large outlet centre 20 minutes drive is also useful if lots of things are needed. Hide

Such an amazing cottage and location was very picturesque. We both had a brilliant time and looking forward to coming back again. Both loved the little welcome cream tea, milk and bottle off wine. Owners off the cottage were both very lovely and even came back in the evening to light the fire for us.

Me and my other half came for our 4th anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place. We received a lovely welcome with afternoon tea and left feeling so relaxed. Would definitely return and recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location was perfect for us and there was lots of information about things to do and places to go. They have a visitors book that also offers suggestions of what others have done whilst being here. The hosts were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The added little touches such as a bottle ofRead more wine and fresh scones on arrival as well as tea, coffee, sugar, milk was perfect and the offer of logs provided at an added small charge helped too. Absolutely beautiful cottage. You sort of think "what the heck is this" when arriving as it's all barns and bumpy roads, but looks are decieving! The Dream Cottage was certainly a dream. Private hot tub and jacuzzi bath were a treat. The only thing that let me down comfort wise was the bed, I'm personally not a fan of duck feather duvets and pillowRead mores so I found it uncomfortable. The bed was also a little too firm for me personally. Supermarkets and shops all close by, within 20 min drive. Hide
