An ideally located holiday home, on the west side of the Isle of Wight, to enjoy the beauty and history of the island

Situated within walking distance of one of the islands most picturesque beaches: Colwell Bay. This is the perfect base to enjoy all that is on offer over at this tranquil side of the Isle of Wight. A day out exploring Freshwater Bay and The Needles landmark is a must. A short drive across the Island and you’ll find yourself spoilt for choice between the resorts of Shanklin and Ventnor. Eating out must not be avoided, there are a wonderful selection of places to choose from.

An inviting entrance porch welcomes you into this wonderful bungalow, before you enter the open plan lounge/diner. The lounge with TV and freeview is a great space to sit and relax after spending the day exploring what the Isle of Wight has to offer. There is ample seating around the dining table for the whole group, and you can cook up a storm in the kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The main double bedroom, set off the lounge, benefits en-suite wet room with shower and WC. The second double bedroom sits next to the twin bedroom which are serviced by a shower room with shower and WC. The conservatory completes this house, it’s a lovely space to retreat to and access the pretty rear garden.

The enclosed lawned garden to the rear of the house, accessed through the conservatory, is a lovely space to sit out and enjoy its southerly aspect, al fresco dining can be enjoyed from here benefitting outdoor seating on the decking. There is ample off-road parking at the front of the house.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Tanglewood was a perfect holiday home. Ideally situated short stroll from the beach. We had everything we needed. A real home from home!

The bungalow is situated in a quiet road turning left out of the drive and walking down to the end of the road you will find steep steps to the beach . The bungalow is very well equipped and very clean . The best recommendation I can give it is I will book again.

Property was excellent in what it offered directly (the deck was really good for mornings and evenings). Its location was ideal. We feel that the property was 'undersold' in terms of what it offered all round!!
