Charming cottage for two located in the heart of the Kent countryside and within walking distance of the historic town of Tenterden, ideal for keen walkers looking for a countryside escape.

Situated on the edge of the historic market town of Tenterden, this pretty holiday cottage has a wide selection of independent pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance. Keen walkers will enjoy exploring the surrounding footpaths in the stunning High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and wine enthusiasts should pay a visit to nearby Chapel Down Vineyard to discover how delicious wine is made in this part of the country. For those looking to venture slightly further afield the nearby town of Rye offers a chance to explore the many antique shops or take a trip to Camber Sands to enjoy a day at the seaside relaxing on the seven miles of sandy beach.

Enter the cottage via the patio doors which look out onto your private landscaped patio area and into the light and bright open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Enjoy relaxing on the comfy sofa with a good book or catch up on your favourite TV programmes on the Smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge with ice box, and is perfect for creating romantic meals that can be enjoyed at the dining table and chairs. The bedroom has a king size bed, ample cupboard space for all your belongings and its own separate Smart TV. The property is completed with an en-suite shower room that has a walk-in shower and WC.

Outside there is a patio area with a table and chairs, the perfect spot for enjoying outdoor dining, and by arrangement with the owner, guests can enjoy a game of tennis on the tennis court. (please bring your own racquets) There is a separate utility room located in the side of the garage and is shared with the adjoining cottage, with a washing machine and an electrically heated clothes horse for drying.

We had a very comfortable stay in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The town of Tenterden was within easy walking distance with a great variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. We would definitely like to visit again.
