We had another great stay at Blue Trousers. House is in the best location in Ludlow, car permit is such a help, you are served well with a variety of pubs and restaurants in the centre and locals are happy to share new places to try. Perfect location for us, straight off the market Sq but still quiet, but would not be suitable for those wanting to drive. (We went by train.) The accomodation was acceptable for 2 but would not be suitable for 4 due to size of living space. (No table to eat at, just a breakfast bar, which would not fit 4). Slap bang in the middle of Ludlow, yards from Castle, Church, Assembly Rooms, pubs, cafes and shops, yet completely quiet in a small square off the main thoroughfare. Comfortable house, brilliant views across countryside from the upper floors, everything you could need for a comfortable, stress free stay. Lovely!

We loved our stay. Perfect location, a super-clean bolt-hole in town. VERY confortable beds, lovely sofas & sitting area, nice views. I would definitely recommend to a friend. I would mention the bells of St. Lawerence though!

The house is gorgeous and full of character. The floors were uneven and there are two flights of stairs, which might put some people off, but for us (a party of four in our 60s), it only added to the charm . Ludlow is a gorgeous town full of welcoming pubs. We didn't manage to visit all of them so might be back :)

We enjoyed the cottage which being in a very old building was rather quirky. It was in the perfect location in the centre of Ludlow near the market and the castle. There were several good pubs and lovely places to eat in the town. Ludlow itself is the perfect place to explore the interesting surrounding area.
