The location was beautiful, and there's plenty of places to walk in the area for all ages and abilities. The cottage itself was lovely if a little outdated and lacking luxury you might expect for the cost of a 2 night stay. Thankfully the weather meant we spend most of the time outdoors. Nice place to stay while visiting / working. The log burner was nice, especially as it was a colder time of the year, also the home made bramble jam was superb. Nothing to complain about really, the place had character and most satisfactory for our needs.
